So we got to the park at 7:00 and we headed right to Eagle. We took red train. About a 5 min wait for front row. Then we headed to revy, 1 cycle wait. Then we headed to V2 about 10 min wait, then we decided to go again. Both times it was a 10 min wait. Then we headed to Orbit 5 min wait. Then it was 8:30. Time for Eagle (again) walk on blue. Then we went back to V2 5 min wait…
Then we went to Batman 20 min wait. By then it was 9:00 or 9:15. Time for some Bull 10 min wait. Then we went to Great American Race way. Time for V2. We get off and it was 9:58. So we left. What a great day.

I was also there on Friday. It was a perfect day. It was my first trip the Great America in 4 years and the first time going with my 3 year old son. Since it was my first trip with a child, it was a very different experience. The Park definitely seemed cleaner, better maintained, more entertainment and the employees seemed more friendly.

The negatives were the crazy prices for parking and food. Defintely won't eat there again. If they want to attract more families, how about making it a bit more affordable? (It helped that my son was free and we used the 4/$99 Chase tickets). Also, I miss the period music in the park. And what's with the annoying Geico commercials and DJs interupting you on the rides?

Of course we spent a lot of time in the kid areas, especially the Wiggles World. The Big Red Plane and the show were probably the highlight of this area for my son. Didn't spend as much time in the other 2 kid areas.

He actually enjoyed the big rides better and got bored on some of the kiddie rides. Since he's only 40", he could only go on the Wizzer for big coasters. But he rode it 3 times. Defintely his favorite ride of the day. Did Spacely twice. He kept asking to go on the other coasters (Batman, V2, Iron Wolf, Rajin' Cajun). He'll be a coaster nut like his parents. Also liked the log ride and the spinners, especially Triple Play (Looks great now) and the Lobster. He also prefered Chubasco to the Wiggles tea cups and the raceway to the Big Red Car ride.

So first trip to Great America: Ended up spending the whole day there from 10-10. 26 rides total and 1 show. (didn't want to see shows). And crashed as soon as he hit the car.
