Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby DejaVuGurl1203 on July 18th, 2007, 1:45 pm
Jason arrived at my house and we left at about 7:45. On the way there, it began to rain. We arrived around 9:15, and got a perfect parking spot in preferred parking and eventually walked to the entrance and waited for them to let us in. It was only drizzling, and eventually it stopped. Saw Ally and Dan and said hi to them. They let us in, and we waited behind the chain. The characters came out and met people, it was fun watching them. They decided not to do the show, and at 10 we were off. We ran to Vu, although that was very difficult for me thanks to all the puddles. I ended up nearly falling, and lost my flip flop at one point and had to go back and get it. We were the first ones to Vu. We had to wait for more people to come. Eventually we got on in the front row. Right before we did, I started to have horrible pains. It was an absolutely amazing ride, somehow I always have a lot more fun in 1A and if it's the first ride of the day.

We got off instead of thinking to re-ride. We walked around the queue and waited 1 train for 1B. I was in horrible pain but I did not want to go back to the car yet. Great ride, we walked around the queue again and got on in row 7B. I wanted another ride, but my boyfriend wanted to go to the washroom because on our first ride this stupid kid spit on the first tower and it ended up in his eye. After that, we went on Bull, wait was around 15-20 minutes for 2-train operation.

Wanted to go on Viper, but the line was long for some reason. We went on Triple Play instead. Then we decided to go on Sky Trek. I love viewing the park on STT. We got off and headed out to the car so I could take some Advil. When we came back in, we rode King Chaos. Great ride as always. We were in the heat on KC, so we decided to ride Roaring Rapids, which ended up being a big mistake later on in the day for me. It was a great ride which got me way too wet.

Then, we rode BTR. It was nearly a walk-on, so we got on it again. The 2nd time, it was a 10 minute wait though. Great rides. We decided to hop on Whirligig since there was hardly anyone boarding. Then, we rode Iron Wolf. It seemed a little smoother than last time. Next, was Revolution. Love this ride. Then, we rode AE red side. We waited 4 cycles for the front row. They weren't really racing today, only once or twice. Then we went out to the car to eat our lunch. After that, we rode Whizzer in the front row.

Next was Viper. It was a 2 train wait for 2nd to last row. Then Bull. After riding Bull, we were tired so we sat down and Jason slept for a bit. Around 4:20, we got up and walked over to Vu. There was hardly a line, and we found out it was down. We waited at the entrance behind two people. After a few minutes, they left. The whole time we waited, which was an hour and a half about, we were talking to one of the ride ops at the entrance. It was hilarious standing there and him telling people different things about what was going on with the ride. He would either say, they were repainting the ride, or they were adding a second train. Most people believed what he said, lol. We found out there was a retraction on tower 1. They tested it once, then twice, and the second time it miscaught on tower one. Finally, they tested it again. The op said if it breaks down again, it will be closed for the day. That last test was fine, but they decided to close it anyway. I have no idea why we stood there waiting for it to open all that time. We just didn't really care, and it was good talking to the ride op and finding out some stuff, and entertaining watching people's reactions to what he said. He told me something though that I don't know if I can believe or not.

So we left Deja Vu and walked around. We rode Revolution again. This was a fun but also annoying ride, these stupid guys kept spitting all over the place during the ride. I don't understand why people feel the need to spit all the time. Why can't they just keep their saliva to themselves? Then, we rode BTR. I like it on the right side of the train better. Next, we went on Ragin Cajun. Just like last time, we barely spun at first. Then we decided to ride SUF. The line was about a 15 minute wait. I enjoyed the ride, I want to ride it more often. Then we hopped onto Condor, and also Orbit.

Next, we got on Viper in 1:3. Amazing ride. After that, we waited for Bull, and realized it was down. Think someone puked on the yellow train. We eventually got on, and we wanted to go again. This time in line, we noticed the 3 people in front of us kept looking behind them as if the rest of their group was in the back of the line. Sure enough, here came a bunch of people cutting everybody. It was extremely rude. Then, right by the flash pass lane, the lady was too busy looking at the station, and didn't notice the group calling someone's name. One girl went to the back of the line to get the person to come to them, and they both came back in front of us. Some people think they are so superior. We decided to ride Bull again, the line was much shorter. We got in the line and people in front of us had some more people who were behind, so they let us go in front of them and waited for their group. Now THAT is what EVEYRONE needs to do. This was a good night ride, not completely dark, but dark enough. I wanted to ride again but Jason wanted to go home.

But I wanted to stay, lol. So we went on Ricochet and had fun. We headed to BTR because I wanted some night rides on it. Boy, it was definitely hauling. We first rode in the back, great ride with a little fireworks. Then, we walked on in the front row (sweeeet). It was an AMAZING ride, not only was it front row at night time, but LOTS of pretty fireworks during our ride. We re-rode in the fourth row. I wanted to ride again but again Jason wanted to leave.

We saw how short the line for Cajun was, so I dragged Jason to Cajun. We walked right on. We spun a LOT. It was a really good ride. When we got off, there was still a few minutes left. While walking we saw the entire parade, and that was fun. We wanted to get on the carousel but they already chained it off since it was 10.

Overall a GREAT day, despite Deja Vu closing and me having to have bathroom breaks so much. I love the feeling when you drop from tower 2 on Vu, I really felt it today. Not crowded, and it never rained after the morning.

ewww, spit! Well, I guess it's better than throw up. We were on eagle on opening day and someone in the front row threw up. It hit everyone on the right side of the train in the face. It was nasty.

It wasn't crowded at all yesterday. HH was pretty empty while we were there.
