Me and my girlfriend both had the day off and decided to drive 2.5 hours to the one and only Indiana Beach!!!
Despite it being the busy fourth of july week, there was NOBODY there and we ended up only having to stay about 4 hours to get on everything we wanted to ride a couple times. And since she's not much of a roller coaster enthusiast, this is probably for the better Everything was a walk-on or one cycle wait as well!!!
Rides Ridden:
Double Shot: 1
Escape from Dino Island: 1
Chaos: 1
Den of Lost Thieves: 2
Cornball Express: 2
Hoosier Hurricane: 3
Tig'rr: 1
Air Crow: 1
Chairlift: 2
Mini-Golf: 1 Round
Galaxi: 1
Paratrooper: 1
Splash Battle: 1
Falling Star: 2
we also did the swing ride once and the log ride twice.
Notes: Splash Battle was a SOAK full of fun! Most of the water gadgets were on and thanks to my Cubs hat, i was the main target from the crowd. Oh, and the Dino Island show is (i believe) the same film we used to have in our park, but the seats for this one were INCREDIBLY different. Either way, it was 3D and really exciting. So both new additions (i haven't been here in 2 years) were cool, all the ones i rode more than once were rerides from just one walk-on wait, and the weather was gorgeous. We had a great time!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
Chelsea and I also enjoyed Dino Island. Haha. It scared her when that insect came close.
Sounds like you had a good time. I wont ride the chaos anymore, because last time we went [ Fathers Day, and May 20th, ] It broke down, and both times it broke, some of the restraints came up, and people were crying, and it looked really scary.
Didnt give Lost Coaster a whirl?
Oh. And might I add, the Taco's are the best there. Ever.
Anyone who has worked on or with a Chaos most definitely wouldn't let their children ride knowing that issues with the ride.
I still ride them though sometimes, though one time I had my OTSR pop open 3/4 of the way mid ride, that was fun, the secondary restraint (not the T bar, the earlier version) stayed down though and I didnt become a statistic.
