Fathers Day

Let us know how your day at the park was.

WoW! Was that place loaded yesterday. My dad chickened out and Im sure he's glad he did. I could not believe that place.

After hitting the Northbound off ramp at 10:11Am. And being in an a*s-mass of people, I finally get in after parking, at 11:13am> ONE HOUR TO GET 3/4 mile!!! Jeez. And the line for pass processing was a mile long, from the bridge to Hometown Square to the pass processing and it never let up ALL day. Even to the parade, they stayed in line.

But I got to ride Revolution and V2 for the first time this year. The rest of the lines I saw were way too long.

Anyone else have an adventure yesterday?

I dont think Ive ever seen it THAT busy.

I was at IB and it was 25 cent ride night after 4 pm (I was there 11-6), from about 5-6 when I left every ride in the park had a full queue, and lines to get the ride tickets were easily 300 feet long and appeared slow moving. Even the coasters had full queues (if anyone has been there, you know the significance of that).

Note to self: sleep in on fathers day, no parks!

though my family ate at the skyroom (which is why I supported this whole idea to begin with)

OMFG! It was insane. I made the mistake of getting to the park at 2 and it took forever to get in the park.

Also, I locked my keys in my car. And then I had to pop my passenger window out of place to stick my hand in the window opening. I unlocked the door and I got my keys! I was really lucky, because my house was an hour away.

I got into the park around 3 and the first ride I went to was DeJa Vu. Then when I was in line they made two announcements.
1. "Would Karen _____ (cant remember her last name), come to the first aid station".
2. Hurricane Harbor is full to capacity!!!!!

For the first time in my life, I heard them say that it was full and that NO ONE was allowed in. It was packed!

Here were the line waits....
DeJa Vu (45 mins)
Raging Bull (1.5 hours)
Viper (15 mins, and 30 mins)
American Eagle (45 Blue, 1 hour Red)
Demon (20 mins before leaving the line)
Whizzer (15 mins with three trains)
Superman (1.5 hours after park closing)

So the lines were terrible and it was really hot. But I did get to ride Superman front row at 10:20 PM after the park closed at 9:00PM!

So I will NEVER go on a "bring a friend free day" on a weekend EVER again.

That was my daily rant

Mothers Day is Bring a Friend for Free.

But it's always dead because no one has their pass yet.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
