Daddy Took Her T-Bird Away (Opening Day)

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby Director_Guy on May 7th, 2007, 3:50 am
Image
Jenna packs some sammiches and we head out the do'.

We arrived no more than ten minutes after park opening.
Image
Yes, these were the lines to get in at 10:08 that morning.

We headed straight for Bull where we ran into some peeps already gettin' thier thrill on.
Image
That'd be Dan in the back row with his arms up.
Image
Parker had already got his thrill on as well.

Image
After our excellent ride, I distributed some Opening Day beads and we shlepped on over to Viper.

Image
Dannie, Ali, Ally, That Other Guy, Dan, and Nick having an EXTREME time on Viper.

Image
Parker. Rightious Super Dude, or total ACEr. You decide.

We could not resist the call of the one they call "Receptacle" so we trecked on over.
Image
Image
And for those who still haven't seen it, this is Eagle's amazingly new mile long line.
Image
This Guy was there, having a great time cleaning up some infectious human waste that someone decided to share.

You'd think once on the same ride is enough, but someone decided to share their breakfast on the red side as well. MMMmmmm! We got a good helping delivered right into our faces.
Image
This is the "I got puke on me" face.
Image
Getting puked on once wasn't enough, so we decided to go ride the now opened blue side.
Image
blewsyde4evah, y'all

Image
Dan: "Dude, I'm texting to you!" Parker: "lol omg!"

Image
Immediatly follwing this picture, That Other Guy attempted to devour Parker. We knew it was time to get some eats.

We ate lunch. It was splendid.

Image
Waiting for Ally to come back from some place, Parker and I hopped aboard the raceway.

Image
How's this for teamwork? Parker steers while I pedal (and put it to the metal, might I add).
Image
"Look, mah! No brains!"
Image
Whoa snap! This person just came out of nowhere!
Image
Parker, I don't want to alarm you, but there's a Trash Receptacle RIGHT THERE!
Image
Oh God! It's following us! Ahhh! Ahhhhh!

Parker says this is a speaker...
Image
Is he lying to me? Am I so gullabull? or even gullacalf? Moo.

After that insane near death experience with the Trash Receptacle, we knew it was time to Wiggle.
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
And That Other Some Guy was running the teacups (which are hard core, by the way)
Image
"Mashed banana, mashed banana"
Image
Jenna aboard the Big Red Car.
Image
Same as last, only different person.

Some of the women folk wanted to go Bouncin' with Wags, so Parker got stuck with a purse.
Image
Looks good on him. Matches his complection.

Image
Bounce

Image
Bounce

Image
That Other Guy was another story. He could barely fit on this thing. The seats are so small... let's just say you'll have a "mashed banana" after riding this.
Image
Not to mention, he broke the ride.
Image
These planes rock.

Image
Whoo! Wiggles!

Image
Crazy folk.

Image
Top Secret, Bradley P.

Image
"Hey, errbody, Triple Play's open!"
Image
Image

Image
"L" is for "Loser".

Image
I wasn't aware... thanks for the reminder.

Image
Parker uses the misters to their full potential.

Image
Ohhhh, that's why it's so damn crowded here.

Image
Six Flags has yet to paint these over at Ricochet that I saw last week as well. They look really out of place without the paint.
Image
"Moooo"

Image
I'm sure we would all like some of her tasty treats.
Image
These should be a warning label. "These beads not intedid for people with a mental age of 5 or lower."
Image
Hmm... make that a mental age of 2. :-D
Image
Oh no, Parker... not you too!
Image
Awesome picture, I think. Beside the fact that That Other Guy isn't looking and Dan somehow dissapeared from sight.

Image
It's around five and some of the buses are starting to leave.

At food time, we noticed this very interesting chair out by Vu.
Image

Since the crowds were letting up, we decided it was time to get our Cajun on.
Image
The only time I'll ride it without Single Rider Line.

Image
Messing with the focus.

Image
That Guy gets some opening day beads.

Image
*SNAP* "Uhh... Lundy, you can have your beads back now..."

Image
It's the boy wonder!

Closing is about to come round, so we waited for the last train of the night on Bull.
Image
Image
Image
Image

Coolest thing ever, last train of the night. Some yokels up front started chanting for one more ride and their wish was actually granted. We got to ride the last train... twice. Couldn't get w00land's keys either time though. Sorry, dude, we tried.

Image
Bull Lovin'.

Image
"You get my keys?"

Whelp, a very awesome day indeed. Wiggly. I look forward to my next visit, and it'll hopefully be on a day that I had actually slept the night before.
Image

Image
The End.

By the way, I'd like to note that this is my 666th post. Yay me.

Great Report!

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

Um, the wire didn't break on Boucing With Wags...

It was just too heavy and it causes a trouble light with that...

Nothing big really...

Ragingbullfan were you working any rides when I was there?! I rode every ride there, but the Bouncin' with Wags ride. I was the bigger kid with the Six Flags 45th Anniversary hoodie. It was around the time of the first show.

And yeah, those tea cups owned! I saw you in Viper, Chris, but i didn't know if you recognized me. I said hi, though.

I don't recall, I can pick Chris out of a crowd though, lol.
Depending on the temp. I'll have either a blue jacket on or my tan uniform shirt. And the jackets don't have my name on them.

I'm usually the one who has to do the dirty work or climb up to get Wags to "sit".

Awesome report. Better by far than the typical "rode this ride than that ride" report. Love the pix. Carousel looks so cool.

You guys sure know how to have a good time. Too bad DejaVuGirl had to miss this. I do agree the line for the AE is long but I don't miss the old entrance. I really like the Wiggles World attraction. That said, what were you guys doing on the kiddie rides??

I don't know if the new misters were built as drinking fountains as someone presumed.

They recently took out Trailblazer and the only replacement now is just a sign of some company established in the late 1800s. They need to put something else in that space pronto.

When I went today I noticed the Tornado line was as long as can be and some inflated Wiggles character in front of the main gate, in the place where the giant pumpkin usually is on Fright Fest.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

Hear ye, hear ye: "After 45 years, Six Flags has stopped smoking."
