We left the house around 4:20, hoping to get there before 5:40. Traffic was a lot worse than I expected. I was beginning to go crazy, because I was supposed to meet up with the guy we were getting our tickets from around 5:40. We finally got there around 5:50, and hurried over and found him, and then we got our tickets. We went into the park and waited behind the chains by Orleans Place. An employee asked us to walk, but when the chains were dropped, no one really listened. So we just started running, toward Batman.
Last time I ran to Batman was opening day 04, and I didn't run very far but I still got front row first dispatch. This time, I ran a lot farther, and nearly killed myself since I have asthma. Well, we were the first ones in line, but we had to wait for more people to come to the line. People came, and we walked through the queue. We got on right in the front row. I always love riding this ride. We got to stay on a second time, and we could have a third time. But, the third time we tried to stay on, I decided to let one of the ops know that on the last turn, both times, my leg got hit by a tree. It didn't really hurt, but they decided to call landscaping over to check it out, so we left.
Then we went on V2. No wait, went right in the back row. After that ride, we stayed on again. Next, we went on Iron Wolf in the front row. Did they repaint this ride or not? I couldn't really tell. It looked like it, but then I wasn't sure. When the ride was over, the girl that was next to Jason didn't look too good. And her guy friend was saying "Don't do it this way!" and stuff. I was freaking out, I didn't want either of us to be puked on. We got off, and as we were walking down the exit ramp, I was looking at her and then she threw up, and I freaked out thinking it might land on either of us, but it didn't lol. That was gross to see though.
So we were trying to figure out where the American Eagle entrance was. I guess we saw it but we already passed it up and I didn't feel like going on it yet. So we headed towards Bull and waited in line for that. That waiting took up a lot of our time. They kept on cycling the red train empty. We went in the back row and it was awesome. Tonight definitely wasn't as cold as I thought it was going to be.
Next was Viper! We went in the 3rd to back row. I had plenty of room for airtime. This was definitely one of the best rides of the night! Viper is a can't miss for sure. The GP say it looks so tame, but they know nothing until they try it.
Then we hopped onto Whizzer, front row no wait. Fun was had by all. I wanted to get on Cajun tonight, so we went over there. But I didn't feel like waiting in that line, there weren't a lot of cars on the track it seemed. So we went over to Batman, waited about 5 minutes for row 7. I loveee the back!
Tried to get in line for Cajun, but they already closed off the line. Booooo. So then we went on King Chaos! Hmm yeah, different but interesting program. It was the last ride of the night.
We stayed a bit for the kickoff party. We watched a little bit, and then left to beat the crowds. I thought it was interesting. It as a great night!
I honestly don't exactly like the placement of Wiggles World, but whatever. I thought the new misters with the press of a button were interesting. Oh yeah, the new sign is amazing!
