September 17th

Let us know how your day at the park was.

We got to the park a little after 11. I wanted to get on a ride right away, and Deja Vu wasn't an option, there was a line. So, we started off with Demon. This was by far my best ride on Demon in quite a while, it was VERY smooth. I didn't bang my head once! I actually really enjoyed it. Then, waited in line for Vu. One retraction, one breakdown, and 1 hour later, we were finally on. Also while in line, the strap for my top snapped! I had to hold my top up so I wouldn't flash anybody. Damn... worst time and place for something like that to happen. Anyway, we got on in 8b, awesome ride.

After getting a shirt from Carousel Gifts, we walked over to Viper. The line was very short, as well as the line for the front row. So we had a 2 train wait for front row. Fun ride, plenty of good airtime. Next was Bull, since the line was short we decided to wait for front. 15 minute wait, another great ride.

Next, we got in line for Iron Wolf. 5-10 minute wait, great ride in back row. Next was BTR, 10 minute wait for the back, and then went on V2 before heading out to the car. While in the parking lot it started raining and there was a bit of thunder. We headed back into the park and waited for the rides to open. We got in line for BTR waiting for it to open. These girls that cut in front of us really pissed me off... When it finally started testing, it opened, and we got right on in the back. God I love this ride! We got back on two more times.

While exiting BTR, we noticed Deja Vu was just experiencing a retraction, so I decided we should run over there. Bad idea. Worst decision of the day. Well, it wasn't SO bad, cause I did get to talk to someone. But anyway, we got in line, and waited. When we were gonna get on soon, I kept worrying that it was about to rain. Sure enough, it began to rain. They sent continued operation but only for a few minutes. It rained harder, and then they let everyone into the station. A few minutes later a lot of people left. As I was talking to one of the ops, they got a call and the ride was done for the day. I waited 30 minutes for nothing... Sometimes I hate this ride. Oh yeah, there were also two linejumpers. There was also security RIGHT there, but they hadn't said anything to the linejumpers... YET. Haha, it was funny hearing the security guard sort of yell at them and escort them out of line.

We then went to Bull, and got in line. Once we got in line, it closed down for some unknown reason, and no other rides were running either, and we really have no idea why. There was no rain, or any lightning that we could see. Finally after 10-20 minutes it tested, and then opened back up. After getting off, we were walking down the ramp and I totally slipped & fell since it was so slippery. It was hilarious. I'm just glad no one else saw me. We decided to get right back on for one last ride. We got last train of the night in back row. Great ride. While going down the ramp, again, I slipped, but didn't fall this time.

So yeah, overall, today was pretty fun. It could have been better though, it had its bad moments. Also, I've pretty much drawn the line with line jumpers today. I will NO LONGER be nice and let them through, I am TIRED of them. Every time I'm at the park, there's always a damn line jumper somewhere. Usually I'm a pretty nice person, but it's gotten to the point where I just can't be nice anymore.

BTR- 4
Bull- 3
Vu- 1
Viper- 1
Demon- 1
V2- 1
Iron Wolf- 1
Total- 12

Did you see anyone awesome today?
Every jumbled pile of person has a thinking part that wonders what the part that isn't thinking, isn't thinking of.
