We wanted to go to the Great America but we didnt have enough money for parking or gas yep its that expensive since we knew hours would be cut we dont have to stay that long but we did we stayed until closing. Luckily we knew someone who worked at Gurnee Mills so we got a ride to Gurnee Mills and rode Bus 565 and arrived at the park at around 10 AM park open from 10-6pm. We noticed a couple of rides closed Giant Drop still closed, Sky Trek Tower, Trailblazer, American Eagle, Revolution will never open. We started with Whizzer line was full extended all the way out of the entrance got to ride it in 15 minutes. After whizzer we headed to Demon then DeJa Vu they had a delay I think because somebody puked on the ride the line was okay got to ride it in 30 minutes so we rode again. Then we headed to Iron Wolf the line wasnt that long we got to ride it in less than 10 minutes so we got back again since the line wasnt that long. We headed to V2 line wasnt that bad rode it 4 times then headed to Batman line extended out of the tunnel at first but got full by late afternoon we rode it 3X. We wanted to watch Tribute and Looney Tunes but no shows for today all they have is Kidz Bop so we skipped it and headed to Superman line wasnt that long about 20 minute wait. Ate lunch at Bayou Grill since we only have $10 for lunch and to spend all day we bought a small fries and refilled our Souveneir bottle that we got last June for 99cents lunch costs us $5. We rode Ragin Cajun then King Chaos wanted to go on the water rides so we rode Yankee Clipper and Roaring Rapids after getting soaked we headed to Hurricane Harbor it was open but Hurricane Mountain, Wahoo Racers and PP and Riptide were all close we rode Tornado line wasnt that bad, Castaway Creek, HHead, Vortex, Typhoon and Baracuda lines werent that bad so we got to ride them a couple of times. After HH we headed to Raging Bull line was long then we rode River Rocker, Richochet and then headed to Viper line wasnt that bad 15 minute wait. After Viper we headed to Deja Vu and rode it 4 more times to end the day but we saw Whizzer was still open so we rode it and that was our last ride of the day and headed back home. All in all a fun day we had fun even though the hours were cut. Weather was perfect crowds were so so but died down later in the day. Might come back again next week. Saved money on gas and parking and we enjoyed our day. Thanks for reading my TR what do you think.
