Valleyfair! 7/25 (long TR) (updated with ride count)

Let us know how your day at the park was.

We got to the park around 9:30 and they let us in at 9:45.

Scince I hadn't ridden wild thing all year we decided to hit that first. We were the first one's in line and my buddy and me got front row. Man this is an awesome coaster. Then there was still no line and we rode back row. In my opinion front owns back.

After our two rides on wild thing we decided to hit X-treme Swing. Man this ride still gets me. It is insane (it could be a longer ride time though).

After that we got on Mad Mouse. It is a good ride but it is very rough.

Then we hit looping starship. It is this big ship that turns you upside down, over, and over again. It was okay except all the blood rushed to my head. I had a headache for about an our after that.

Anyway after the ship we hit power tower. Rode both towers and they were both good rides. The turbo drop is way better than the space shot though.

Then we went to the back of the park and rode excalibur front row twice. Let me tell you, that ride is fast and rough, but I love it.

After Excalibur we wondered our way back to the front of the park and we hit High Roller along the way. Back row, lots of air time. (Now it is about 11:30 and as you can probably tell there are not that many people there.)

We went on Power Tower and Wild Thing again, then it was 11:55 and my dad, my friend and my little brother wanted to go out to the car for lunch. I told them I was going to go on Steel Venom and then come out to the car. My dad said, "If there is a big line just come out to the car". I thought to myself oh great this ride always has a big line.
But to my surprise it was a walk on. So... I rode front row and back row. Awesome ride. I went out to the car and had a turkey sandwich for lunch.

It was time to split up. My dad and little brother went by themselves and me and my friend went to Steel Venom and rode front and back.

Then we hit Scrambler, Wild Thing, Power Tower twice, X-treme Swing twice, High Roller, Monster and Corkscrew. Then we saw my dad and brother again and still planned to meet at 4:00, it was 2:30. We rode the bumper cars once, then we went on Rip Tide, X-Treme Swing, The Wave twice, and wildcat. It was 3:30 so we went over to Wild thing to ride it and go to the car to meet up. Or so we thought. We get in front row after waiting for 15 min. Get to the top of the lift and the thing stops at the top of the hill. The chain malfunctioned and they had to get two mechanics and three employee's to climb 207 ft to the top of the lift hill and fix the problem. That took about 20 minutes so after the ride, we ran back to the car and told my dad what happend.

After another sandwich we headed to skyscraper. The were having a $5 per person special and it is origionally $10 so my dad paid for me and my friend to ride it. This is my new favorite ride at Valleyfair!.

We hit X-treme swing, and Wild thing again. and it was 5:30. My dad and bro wanted to go see the Imax at 6:00 so we split up again and planned to meet up at seven. My friend and me went on high roller, Power Tower six times, X-treme Swing twice. by then it was 7:00 so we met up and saw that this little boy was lost so we sat with him for a half hour.

We hit Monster, Wild Thing twice and then went on Steel Venom, and everyone was tired so we hit Enterprise and left the park at around 8:00.

All in all, it was a good day, no crowds at all.
