Valleyfair School Trip May 26th

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby RagingBullLover1543 on May 27th, 2006, 9:02 am
We left school around 9:00 and got to the park around 11:00.

Once in the park we went straight to Power Tower Space Shot. But before we got in line we held a moment of silence for Wild Thing. 15 min wait but nice ride.(We took my friend on PT for his first ride ever... He never rode another ride the whole day! )

After PT my friend sat on a bench and waited for us while we went on X-treme Swing. 35 min wait, but in my opinion the best ride in the park.

It was time to hit Steel Venom. 20 min wait for back row. It's gotten really rough in the last two years.

Then we ate lunch at COASTERS DINER.

Me and my friend Jared got done with lunch early. So we went over to High Roller, got in line, and like 20 kids cutted in front of us so they could be with their group at the front of the line. That ticked me off. 10 min wait for front row.

Then we went all the way to the back of the park and rode Excalibur. They only had one train running and the line was long. 55 min wait for middle row!

We met back up with some other friends and rode Power Tower Turbo Drop. It was better than Space Shot. 20 min wait.

Then we went to Mad Mouse. 5 min wait. Fun ride.

We hit x-treme swing again.
Then we rode corkscrew.
Then we rode High Roller and Excalibur. Then my friend got sick.
Then we separated and me and Jared rode steel venom, power tower space shot and turbo drop and x-treme swing again. Then we went back to the buses and left at 6:15.

Ride totals:
X-treme Swing-3
Power Tower-4 total
Steel Venom-2
High Roller-2
Excalibur-2
Mad Mouse-1

All in all it was a good day at the park. Aside from all the other schools there.

Not to good. There was no body working on it. It hasn't tested yet either!

^Well its too soon to test anyway. Many things need to be done after an accident. When the two Cal Screamin trains crashed, the coaster was down for many months.

Sorry for the double post but I just wanted to say that I'll be going to Valleyfair next week and I'm a little worried cause x-treme swing has been closed for the past three days. Website is so stupid they don't tell you why the ride is closed. Anyway, look for a trip report for valleyfair on either the 17th or the 20th.
