I was at a camp in Michigan and I was finally able to get away for a few hours and go to Michigan's Adventure. I got lucky because the park was empty so everything was a walk on.
The first coaster I got on was Corkscrew and I was surprised with how smooth it was. Ill rate it a 6/10.
The next was Wolverine Wildcat. I liked it but I think it lost too much speed. Ill rate it a 5/10.
Next was Shivering Timbers. I think its over hyped but it was still fun. Wooden coasters are supposed to be a little rough but it beats the hell out of you. It was really rough in the back row but the middle rows are worse. Hopefully it gets retracked soon. Ill rate it a 7/10. I would rate it higher if it wasnt so rough.
Zach's Zoomer was next. I think its a boring family coaster so Ill give it a 3/10.
Mad Mouse was next. Its very smooth and I like it better than Ragin Cajun. Ill rate it a 5/10.
Last was the Big Dipper. I went on it just to get a coaster credit. Ill rate it a 1/10.
Michigan's Adventure is definetly a family park but it was still fun. If you are in the area then I would recommend taking a visit. The atmosphere was great and Ill visit again.
