June 11th, 2006 - Still better than Magic Mountain

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby DejaVuGurl1203 on June 11th, 2006, 10:31 pm
Title mainly points to Deja Vu's operation... Yep, I noticed something in Vu's station that I never saw before.

Anyway, the day didn't start out too great. We got to the park at 10, and went straight to Vu. Not open. We waited it out and got 2nd dispatch in 7b when it opened. Of course we wanted to go on again, so we did. 20 minute wait for 7b again. Then we did Bull twice, and went to take advantage of the water park. While in there we perfectly understood why no one was there. We were freezing, unless we were in the wave pool or lazy river. But we still went on a lot.

We went on Tornado 5 times, did the wave pool twice, went in the lazy river, and also went on Typhoon, the purple body slide, Barracuda, and Bahama Mama. I just don't understand how my mom was so 'freezing' while in HH when she had so many layers of clothes on...

Once we got back into the regular park, we did Viper. A walk on for 2nd to last row. Next was... SUF. Decent ride as always. Then we hopped right onto King Chaos, and went for a quick ride on Batman before heading to the car to eat lunch.

After lunch, we went to Demon. 5 minute wait for back row. The ride didn't hurt this time. Vu just opened up from a breakdown so we went on that. 20 minute wait for 1b.

Next up was AEB. Goddamn, that last helix was the roughest it's ever been! It was still alright though. Then hopped onto Iron Wolf, running 2 trains, and we got on the one with the new restraints. I'm not sure if it was just me but they felt a bit different.

Next, we walked onto V2 because someone let us go in front of him. This ride is kind of getting boring. Next, we rode BTR 4 times. It was definitely hauling. Row 4 felt like back row. Then waited 10 minutes for Viper, awesome airtime. Then Bull, WAY longer line than earlier. Earlier the line was in the station. Then hopped onto Giant Drop.

I actually didn't feel like riding anything else after this. I was Deja Vu hungry. So, we rode Deja Vu 4 times... almost 5. It was making really unusual noises today... it didn't exactly sound good either. But it was an awesome 4 rides, I needed to get my count up. Had to end the day at 8... Amazing day. I took lots of pics of Tornado, but they're on my phone. Not sure if I can post them or not. Actually added a few to the HH album on here, so check em out.

Awww we must've just missed each other in HH today. It woulda been cool to meet someone in this forum since I don't know anyone :)

Yeah it was freezing and like you said the wave pool and lazy river thing were the only things to keep you warm.

Awesome job on the multiple rides on Deja Vu! It was a great day to make a new ride record on that thing! I woulda loved to ride AE-Red since it was closed last week but the friend I went with doesn't like that coaster :(

Awesome TR. Yeah, I wouldn't pass up Vu either.

Somewhere in Florida a village is missing its idiot. He can be found in Washington D.C.

That's probably due to staffing.

Nice TR. I've also learned to take advantage of riding Vu if it ever opens while I'm at the park.
