SFGAm June 4

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby FRD714 on June 4th, 2006, 4:56 pm
Arrived at the park a little after opening. I had to double take at the rides closed sign becuase there was only one ride closed, and that was Revolution.

As soon as I got in I headed straight to V2. I walked up to it and noticed there was no one in the station! I walked right on front row. It was awesome.I stayed on for 2 more rides before heading to Batman.

Batman was also a walk on for second row. Stayed on for 3 rides also before people started coming into the station and I had to get off.

Next was iron Wolf. This ride doesnt do much for me so I didnt care to ride it, but I did anyway. Rode it once and went to American Eagle. Red side was open, but only one train was running. This was also a walk on.

As I walked off Eagle, I noticed Dejavu was actually running. Got up to the entrance and saw a short line. About a 15 minute wait before I was sitting in 8b. Great ride. Got stuck in the station then for 10 minutes while maint. tried to get the catch car in the right position. They actually pushed the train forward a bit. Then they finally let us off.

Got some Papa Johns, and went back to Dejavu. The line was a little longer this time, but still short. There was about 10 minutes of downtime while I was waiting, but it wasnt a big deal. Sat in 2a. Another great ride.

Headed over to Demon for one ride. Short wait as usual.

Next was Bull. Had a station wait. As I was exiting, the guy working buy the fastlane part of the line let me cut through tio ride again. Did that once more before getting off. As I walked to Giant Drop, I noticed it was only 1 pm and I had alread rode most of the coasters.

Giant Drop was a 5 minute wait. Fun ride, but I didnt feel like re-riding. Went to Viper for a short wait. Got back row becuase back row is awesome.

I felt like riding V2 again becuase that ride is so awesome. The line was just outside the station. Got 2nd row. I just love that launch.

Finally on the way out I stopped at Superman for a quick ride. This ride still doesnt impress me. I dont know why I ride it.

Overall great day, and the park was dead.

Was the water park crouded?

Wow...I went on Friday, and the place was packed. Now it's empty on a weekend day? Booo. On friday Full queue house for Bull, all switchbacks open...IW's line was near the queue tents, V2s line was near the entrance..I could go on but I would just get more mad, lol.

If the park was dead, why are your ride totals so low? Did you marathon Demon Nachos?

Maybe he just walks slow. And "dead" during this time of the year has a different definition than "dead" at the begining of the year (and definately at the end of the year..teehee, dead, fright fest...get it? yah, i'm a dork.. but what can i say its almost 6am and i haven't slept yet.)
What you don't understand you can make mean anything.

The park crowds where light considering the time of the year and the weather.

3 Trains on Raging Bull are sweet :)
