Senior Skip Day!

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby w00dland on May 22nd, 2006, 10:21 pm
Here I am with my first photo trip report of the year for SFGAm. Crowds were minimal for most of the day and the weather was excellent. So enjoy!

The day started with everybody meeting at my house.

Image

Then we all jumped into the cars and off we were to SFGAm!

Image

Well, not without a little food first...

Image

Look! Tornado is pretty much done! Everything in the waterpark had water running through it today including all the slides except Tornado. Makes me want to skip work on Saturday.

Image

"I hate that Lyanne Rhymes. I hope they do a live National Anthem today. (They didn't, it was her again)

Image

Whats that sound? Oh it's the Carousel Song! Matt and Erin Like it! Hey Mikey!

Image

So we ran to Raging Bull, and since I'm just so fast. I got there first. Yay for morning Raging Bull rides!

Image

This picture is just for Director_Guy, to show how much I truely admire his amazing Picture TR's. I was bummed I didn't see him today.

We skipped Eagle, but noticed that nobody was even in the station for...

Image

IRON WOLF! It ran pretty slow, but smooth in the front row. We all combined for a great "Yay!" and were off to the dreaded, scary...

Image

V2! We weren't sure if we were ready to challenge this beast yet today. Matt, what do you think?

Image

"I'm not sure Nick, this is an Intimin..."

We beat the V2, and headed over to Batman.

Image

It was so sweet, I didn't even take a picture of the ride, just the logo.

So we go and sit down on this bench...

Image

And we see somebody amazing...

Image

BATMAN HIMSELF!

That was so intense we decide to take a ride on the Carousel.

Image

My horse was named Kenneth, and he was the fastest horse in the whole wide world!

Image

Uh oh, my horse is named Barbaro...

After that, it was Whizzer time!!!

Image

And it was simply Whizzeriffic. I loved it mucho.

Image

We had a little Viper ride after that, and it was super fun with only a 2 train wait in the station for 1:3. Go Acers!

After that we went for a riiiiiiiiiiide

Image

On Chubasco! Then we did some Eagle, which was better than usual.

Image

Then we went to luuuuuunch and I had a really yummy sandwich at Charlie's Steak show in Gurnee Mills.

Then we came back to the park, and it was awesome!

We saw good old Marriotts Bugs and a really short Daffy.

Image

Well look, Superman was a walk on.

Image

But it looks like Matt is too short to ride. :(

Image

Image

Image

"Oh my god, I couldn't breath during that ride"

Then we were gonna watch the Great American Idol people, but I looked to my right and I'm all...

Image

Look King Choas is open. We rode it and it was fun, just like last year!

Image

I don't feel so good after that

Image

Lets ride V2, that'll make it all better!

Image

Then it was time to be flung.

Image

And it totally rocked!

Then we did some Eagle

Image

And Matt and Erin had a lot of fun.

Then we took a picture with a giant cock...

Image

It was supposed to be Blue Steel, but I messed it up.

We wanted to go to Sky Trek Tower after that.

Image

Too bad it wasn't open.

Image

Matt was crushed.

After that it was time for more walk on Superman

Image

Hey Shannon, how was that ride?

Image

I can't stop smiling, Nick, it was that amazing!. (Well atleast I had fun)

It was getting late, so we decide to head back for a ride on Bull, then over to Giant Drop where we rode 4 times.

Image

There was a guy there, but apparently I can't show you his picture.

After that we did 4 more rides on Viper in a row because there was nobody inside the station. Viper was a sqeaky but good time.

Image

Then it was over for another Bull ride, and then 3 more on Drop. On account of the park being totally empty by now, we were able to do all that in about 10 minutes.

It was like 7 o'clock then, and the park was closing so we ran into Bull's line and got the last ride of the night.

Image

We think Erin liked it!

Image

Well the day was then over, we had a great time at Six Flags instead of being at school! Thanks SFGAm for a great day of truency!

Was Deja Vu testing today again, or not? On Sunday, they were testing it much of the day. I've also seen some workers at the ride which means that they are probably training for it!!! Cool pics.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
