SFGAm: May 24th

Let us know how your day at the park was.

The weather was alright today. It rained right when my group arrived at the park and started to clear up before opening.

Vertical Velocity was on the list of closed rides today. It was not in operation, but I thought I saw it go through a test-run mid-afternoon.

The crowds were a little "heavier" than this past Monday, but nothing too unbearable. The longest lines were for Giant Drop, approx. 30 minutes, and Raging Bull, approx. 20 minutes.

Demon was closed for at least a few hours. One of the trains stopped at the point where it left the tunnel and before the corkscrews. From Sky Trek Tower, we saw one of Whizzer's trains stopped, too, but it seemed to be back in operation after a brief period.

The rain came down again just before 2pm, which we had previously scheduled to catch "The TOONite Show." The show is geared towards little kids, who did not make up much of the audience for our showing.

Most of the rides weren't re-ridable this time around. Whizzer, though, had about a one-train wait late afternoon. Although the crowds weren't as light as I had expected, it was still a good time.

Yeah, Demon was broke during the first part of the day, and didn't come on till later. Roaring Rapids was the water ride that was open instead of the Logger's Run, Splash Water Fall, and Yankee Clipper. The Orbit was closed in the morning, and then opened later. Ricochet was closed in the morning, and then opened later. King Chaos also opened a little later. V2 was closed. Early in the morning, it looked like Giant Drop had a 30 minute considering they were only running 3 cars.

Superman Ultimate Flight was broke really late in the day which was a disappointment. Sky Trek Tower was open, and then closed later in the day. Whirlgig closed for some point, and then opened. Fiddler's Fling (I think) was open the whole day along with Condor, and Great American Raceway. Space Shuttle America, and Hometown Fun Machine never opened.

At the end of the day, all the life guards were trying out the new Tornado water slide.

I think you guys should have ride IRON WOLF I rode it 20 times today and the lines were going fast. Yes Demon broke, KC operated, Superman broke and some of the lines were too long for the big rides. Lifeguards were walking all over the park. It was kind off busy with all that school buses but still a fun day for all.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
