SFGAM Trip Report - May 15th - 17th 2006

Here's a photolog of our first trip to SFGAM was Sunday May 15th - 17th. Funny thing is, Me and "E" saw "Director_Guy" on V2, but he was getting off the ride and we were 2 rides away from getting on.... his first trip report of SFGAM's opening day REALLY FIRED US UP!!! We are from Saint Louis and had been reading up on SFGAM for 6 months and couldn't wait to go.... Here's part ONE of our trip .... ENJOY !!


THE ORACLE SHOWED US WHICH WAY TO GO FROM DOWNTOWN CHICAGO... WE THANKED HIM BY GIVING HIM A GOLD HARMONICA, GIVEN TO US BY THE GODS THEMSELVES.


HERE I AM PREPARING FOR THE DAMP COLD THAT IS UPPER ILLINOIS.
REMEMBER : WE ARE FROM "THE SOUTH" LOL - SAINT LOUIS, MO. IT WAS 20 DEGREES WARMER DOWN THERE WHEN WE LEFT!!! WHEW!!!


HERE'S MY GIRLFRIEND "E" ... SHE'S JUST INSANE... INSAAAAANE ABOUT RIDING ROLLERCOASTERS!!!


WE WERE GREETED BY THE CAROUSEL OF DEATH & DOOM WITH IT'S FIRE-BREATHING DRAGON THAT WARNED US NOT TO GET TOO CLOSE.


THIS MYSTERIOUS GUY WAS ON A TOY-PRIZE MISSION.... AND HE ACHIEVED THAT MISSION WITH FULL GLORY... AS YOU CAN SEE.


SOMETHING TOLD US TO STAY AWAY FROM TWEETY. HE HADN'T HAD HIS MORNING CIG OR COFFEE... AND HE LOOKED G R U M P Y !!!

thanks... i worked really hard getting the photos prepped and posted on blogger.com. this is my first attempt at posting a photo blog. SFGAM and "Director_Guy", a member on this website really inspired me to get it done.

Awesome pictures. Love the fun things you did to them. Glad I could inspire someone. I have a feeling of accomplishment down in my sole...oh wait...no....that's a rock. Still, I'm glad you had an awesome oppossum time.

me and E really wished we could've stopped and chatted with you at V2.
it's just that the back row of V2 was calling us, and nothing was going to stop us!
heh heh.... i love the BRAKE at the top of it's straight side. Went to Cedar Point for the first time in Fall 2005, and lemme tellya, Cedar Point's Wicked Twister, although about 30 feet taller than V2, DOES NOT COMPARE TO V2!!!!
In fact, I'm going to be so bold as to say that SFGAM is just as good as Cedar Point (well, OK, Millenium Force IS the king of all coasters... but that's the only exception).
hmmm, i think i'm going to search for your other trip report posts this morning...because i don't feel like working!!
