4/29 - Eventful Day.

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby DejaVuGurl1203 on April 29th, 2006, 11:32 pm
And do I EVER mean eventful. Skip the 3rd paragraph if you don't feel like reading about my enemies stalking me.

So we get to the park around 11. Went to Viper first, um, pretty much a walk-on. Insane airtime, and a great way to start off the season. Then it was off to Bull. 10 minute wait, back row. It was a really good ride, I wanted to get on again but get on other rides too.

We headed over to American Eagle, and I found out that Red was indeed open, with one train though. We got in line for Blue. Great ride as always, but I miss it being backwards. So we're exiting the ride, and I glance at someone... seconds later realizing it was my biggest enemy, along with my second biggest enemy. Great, I thought, this is definitely going to be an angering and eventful day. They were making the dumbest faces at me, and I completely ignored them.

I went into the washroom, and they decided to follow me there. Their pathetic selves were smiling, checking their hair in the mirror... it was so obvious they were stalking me. The main reason they came today was to get a piece of me. I walk out of the washroom, and one of the girls called me something, so I did the same for her, and once I did, I heard a lady in the background saying "What?!" I thought it was someone I didn't know. Then as we were walking past her, she said something to me... I realized it was her mother. Oh lord she looked like she wanted to kick my ---. I told her she better watch her daughter and her friend.

So I go onto Iron Wolf. Of course, they follow me there too. It was about a 10 minute wait. I was getting really steamed up from these girls, I was ready to start a fight. Once we got on, the girls had to wait, and they were giving me pathetic death wishes and threatening me, but I completely acted like they weren't there and just laughed. Once we got off, we got the chance to escape from them. We went to Batman, pretty much a walk-on for back row. I saw that the girls were getting in line for V2, figuring that I would be there. They lost us after that, hah.

So I figured that they weren't worth fighting in a place like Six Flags, and to get kicked out of the park and probably arrested. Thankfully I can usually control myself. Anyways we went to Cajun, 10 minute wait. Nice ride got me real dizzy. When we were on it, I noticed that Rapids was open, I completely forgot it would be open on opening day. I'm thinking, this is the perfect opportunity to go on. So we went on. We got a little soaked, it was really fun. I hadn't been on it in years, so I had to go on it. It wasn't even that cold.

So we went to... Superman. Broken down, stuck on the lift... we waited it out. Not sure how long we waited, but we got on eventually. Good ride. Then we ate, and then went to Demon. Waited 1 train for front row. Then we went to GD, practically a walk on. I was distracted when we were at the top, so the drop scared the crap out of me. Then went on Bull, 15 min. wait. Then Viper. Went on Orbit, and then went to ride BTR. Walk on for back row.

Next we went to V2, walked onto row 12. Meh, this ride is starting to get a tad boring... Next, we did Batman 3 times. Front, back, and then front again. Front was amazing for some odd reason. Next was Wolf, walk on. We hopped onto Fiddler's Fling as well.

Then AEB again. Then we did Demon twice, and I lost one of my earrings. Demon was painful. We went back to Viper, holy shiz that was an INSANE ride! It was extremely fast in the rain. Next was Bull. We went on in back. Then I decided to get back on, in row 8. Got back on again in front row, and then in back again. I wanted to stay on but they closed it due to weather.

Since it was raining harder, we went and bought some candy and sat in Firehouse. When it let up, we went on Sky Trek. I counted the cars in the parking lot, it was around 7 PM and there were 70ish cars. I'd never been to the park when it was this dead. We went to Superman and it was almost a walk on for the front. The first time, I was the ONLY one on the whole train since my bf didn't feel like riding it. I thought that was awesome. I rerode it again twice in the front, that was fun.

Then we went on Condor. I wanted to close the night with Batman, so we did front row 3 times without getting off. I ended my night 8 minutes early because BTR was giving me a major headache, and I was feeling sick and dizzy. And it rained practically all day so that was a pain in the face. Yes, pain in the face.

All in all, awesome day.

Sounds like you had a good time after all, despite those pesty girls. You should have let them have it!! 8)

Anyway, riding alone is pretty neat isn't it. I was the only one on Raging Bull once. It was a very memorable experience. Thanks for sharing!

You should have had someone call security. Just the sight of them approaching would have made them run. :)

Sounds like those girls were pretty immature. Anyway, how crowded was it that day? I want to know how crowded it will be may 14th. I might go that day.

It was dead. At first, there were like 10 minute lines or less, but later on in the day there were complete walk-ons.

May 14th will more than likely be empty, since that is Mother's Day. But who knows, maybe this year a lot more people will go.
