Opening day-almost all day (long)

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby v2guy13 on April 29th, 2006, 7:00 pm
AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!! Opening day was sooooo awesome!!! The park was dead, i mean DEAD, walk ons on EVERY ride except for a 5 min wait on RB. Anyway...

The day started with me getting up at 7. THen, i left to get my friend at 9. We got the the park at 9:20, but didn't get in until 9:35. Then, when we thought we could jet off, they made us wait at the "Starting line" until 10.

There was some marriots music playing and they did the star spangle banner. Then they left off baloons and we could almost go. About 5 minutes later i saw becky-o there but, she went to bull and my friend had to get his pass. After we were done at the processing center we went to DEMON. We were almost the first ones except for 2 people. Argh :x  . Well, after that we went to AE and did that twice in the front without having to get off. AE is sooo cool with the new chain and paint job.

Then we were gonna go to IW but it was down 'cause the blocks weren't working right. SO we went to fiddler's fling. We got on that twice. Next was V2 in the front, which made me say from now on i will always go front in that ride. After V2 it wasn't even 11 yet so we did Batman. We could've gotten front but row 2 was open so we took it. BTR is a little smoother than last year, the cobra roll, really smooth, barely any headbanging. After we were done with BTR it was only 11 so we wernt hungry and saw IW was back up so we did that in the 3rd row. IT was pretty cool, still a little jerky in the corckscrew.

I was starting to fell a little lonely (besides my friend) so i decided to play a game. I did the amazing alfrodox or something like that and i did weight. He was off by 15 lbs. so i won a blue monkey, yay! Then at the ball knock down the blocks game, they had a special for 2 balls for $5 plus a Superman or Batman cape, i got Superman. After the games, we hadn't full filled our thrill seeker needs so we went to Giant drop. It was almot a walk on. It was awesome for the 1st time this year. Next it was time for Raging Bull. We got front row. In line we met these two extremely hot girls from michigan for physics class and they rode with us. Unfortunatly, they were Juniors and i'm an 8th grader  .

Anyway, by now it was 12:30 so we were hungry. We were gonna eat at Crazy Buffalo Saloon but it was too expensive so we went to the fire house for pizza. It was really good Papa John's pizza. It was drizziling lightly now so we went to a show. The show was Space Shuttle America. It was nice to see that back, but i think the 2nd one with the dinosaurs is the best  . The cape was bothering me so i gave it to this kid, i felt good about it :D , but i lost like $3  .

ANyway, we still hadn't gone on Superman so thats where we went. OH, MY, GOD, it was almost a walk on. THe line was halfway up the stairs!!!! We did that twice, once in the 7th row and another in the 2nd row. We wanted to get out of the cold so we saw a show that was on in 10 min. That show was the TOONite show. IT was pretty funny and i liked it. RECCOMMENDED. Next we figured we would do Ragin Cujun, but it was closed for rain, so we went to orbit. That was really fun, i think it got higher this year. There was no one in line so we got 2 continuous rides :D .

Ok so it's about 3 and it's starting to pick up (the rain) so we went to Viper :D  . That was a very surprising WALK ON TO FRoNT ROW!!!!!! :D :D :D On Viper though, the rain felt hard, but it was cool  . So, we decided to give the rain a chance to stop so we went to Chubasco, i almost lost my lunch  Well, it didn't stop so we thought Raging Bull would be awesome right now. When we got up to the station, row 2 was a walk on so we took it. It was so cool in the rain. But on the first hill, i rain drop went up my nose and it stung like hell :?

After Raging Bull, it was raing pretty bad so we did what we thought would be one last ride. We were going to end our day on giant drop, we were wrong. After GD, his mom couldnt pick us up for a half hour. So we went to sky trek tower just to see how dead the park was. We looked into the parking lot and if every spot was filled, there would be only about 3 row. After that, his mom called and she was 2 minutes away, so we headed for the exit. We left the park around 5:30. IT was a very full filling day.

Total ride/show count:
Demon-1
American Eagle-2
Iron Wolf-1
Superman: Ultimate Flight-2
Raging Bull-2
Fiddler's fling-2

Uuum, yeah because we weren't just gonna stay at one ride all day. Since it was walk ons we could get on a crap load of asortments of rides.

^I do the same. I get bored just riding the same thing more than a couple times in a row.
