Mt. Olympus 09-04-05

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby Director_Guy on March 30th, 2006, 10:14 pm
There's been alot of talk about Hades and Mt. Olympus lately. Now, I wasn't gonna share these but I figured....why not, eh? So, I reached back in the vault and found these pictures from the first and currently last time I was there.

Image
There it is. Hades doin' the Hades thing.
Image
And there it is again. This time with full on fence action!

So, I entered the park and first thing I saw was this...weird thing....
Image
It's like a water ride in denial....

Image
This ride has got some pretty intense drops.
Image
Hmm... Looks sturdy enough....
Image
Even though it does look like it was put together with an Erector's Set...
Image

Image
Also, it only had enough room to run one train... not fun for the line.
Image
But a very cool drop out of the station.
Image

So I wandered over to the next coaster...where I saw this...
Image
What? Why?
Image
It doesn't look very threatening...
Image
Confused, I hopped in. The lap bar was really funky and unsafe seeming...
Image
Yay!

Image
This little monster is PAINFUL! Stay away!

Afterwards I needed a drink....GASP!
Image
YES! They serve Pepsi! Thank gourd!

Okay...Imma go check out the waterpark...

Oh...I love the themeing here....this is supposed to be a.....uh...Tree Graveyard?
Image

Hey...water slides....
Image
Image
Yup...that's nice....hey look! Hades!
Image

Yeah...after that I left....
Image

Image
No. Thank YOU.
For this.

The End....I guess.
Every jumbled pile of person has a thinking part that wonders what the part that isn't thinking, isn't thinking of.

It's because of all the airtime. So really it should be a weight minimum I guess.

You really need to ride it to experience why you should be 18 or older to ride this. I can see you peeing your pants when you experience "the drop"

Yeah, Cyclops has insaine airtime. I'm not 18 so I couldn't ride it, but I did ride it in the middle and it still had amazing airtime. Did you guys know that before the 2005 season, Mt. Olympus let you ride the coasters 2 times in a row without getting off. The train used to just keep rolling through the station and didn't stop. It was awesome.

^Really? That must have been awesome, but did they get a lot of visitors back then? I mean now that Hades is there they probably get more.

Yeah. That is probably why they stopped. That was cool though.
