I went with my dad, my brother Neal, and his friend Melville (his real name is Adam). Got there at about 11 and headed straight to Viper. There was almost no line. The wait was about 5 minutes for the back. Had a really fun ride on that, so I got back on. This time it was a walk on. This ride seems to be faster every time I ride it and it gets better every time. I totally love this ride.
I went over to Raging Bull which had a very short line, and got on in about 10 minutes, in the back as usual. I wanted to get back on so I went through the fastpass line since the line had gotten shorter. Five minute wait for the back, and I got on again, another 5 minute wait.
They had just opened Giant Drop when I got off, so I went on that. It was a walk on. This ride is just so cool, I LOVE the drop a lot. Then I headed over to Demon and it was a walk on for the back row. No one was in line when the train came back, so I got to stay on for one more ride. Those were 2 great rides... and that was the first time I ever got to stay on a coaster for another ride!
Then I went over to American Eagle Blue. There was no one in the station basically, but I had to wait about 10 minutes for the last row to leave the station, because the whole last car on one of the trains was closed. This was a lot better than the last time I went on it, faster and barely trimmed.
We went over to Firehouse Pizza for some lunch. A downpour started while we were eating, but it only lasted for 3 minutes. I went over to Iron Wolf, and guess what, it was closed. I waited a while and then it started drizzling, and all of a sudden... "Attention... a tornado warning has been issued. Please keep shelter now. Do not call 911. Listen to 102.3 FM." It was something like that. So me and my dad went to the bridge right next to Iron Wolf and stayed there. The rain kept going on and off and on and off. In the meantime I got some cotton candy and went on Fiddler's Fling twice. There was also a lot of thunder and lightning. They had the tornado announcement said about 10 times and had the siren going 3 times. It was crazy.
When it all finally let up, they opened Iron Wolf after testing it a few times. I got on the back row. This seemed a lot faster than before. I got on again and waited maybe about 20-30 minutes because of a breakdown. The train that was arriving back into the station went too far, so it took a while, and they let some people off and the other people stayed on for another ride.
I headed over to V2 and went in the back row. Wait was about 10 minutes. Another amazing ride on V2. I went over to Batman and it was closed, it had been closed since 1:40, and at the moment it was about 6. I went back on V2 and the line was shorter, so I went in the front row since it wasn't as long as usual. This ride seemed faster as well. I saw a flash of lightning as I was getting off, but I decided to get back on, even though it was down. Once I got into the station, there was a HUGE bolt of lightning and right away there was a big BANG and almost everyone left from that. That's when the ride op told everyone to leave.
I didn't really ride anything after that, cause basically every ride was closed and it kept raining. We left at about 8. Today was just totally insane. It started to be my best day at first, but now it really wasn't. I still had a great time though, and Melville even flirted with me (this guy is sooo hott lol).
