No surprise at all.
They didn't even avertise locally in Monticello that they were open in October, so almost no one went to the park that month.
Considering the economy, I can bet many companies that do picnics might be holding back this year on planning a day at IB. Combine that w/ the fact others might not have the money in the budget for an amusement park trip, and then combine that on top of those who might have been burned by their experience at the park in 2008, 2009 is shaping up to be potentially rough year for the park.
I just hope that management learned from the multiple mistakes they made last year, but I won't hold my breath. At least one positive new change is scheduled to take place as of now, but as opening day is still kind of far off, that can still change. Time will tell...
