Because people post their ride counts in the trip reports. And they can gather them and post them there.

it does make more sense here, so time for the great move...

I've had sort of a slow year this year, what I come up with is..

539. Dark Knight Coaster- SFGAm
540. Super Flight- Rye Playland
541. Crazy Mouse- Rye Playland
542. Dragon Coaster- Rye Playland
543. Cyclone- Coney Island, New York
544. Kingda Ka- SFGAdv
545. ElToro- SFGAdv
546. Dark Knight Coaster- SFGAdv
547. Superman Ultimate Flight- SFGAdv
548. Python- Playland's Castaway Cove
549. Flitzer- Playland's Castaway Cove
550. Runaway Train- Gillians Wonderland Pier
551. Wacky Worm- Gillians Wonderland Pier
552. Pirates Hideaway- Casino Pier
553. Wild Mouse- Casino Pier
554. Hot Tamale- Casino Pier
555. Family Coaster- Funtown Pier
556. Looping Coaster - Funtown Pier
557. Mighty Mouse- Funtown Pier
558. Flitzer- Jenkinson’s Boardwalk
559. Ladybug Coaster- Long Island Adventureland
560. Hurricane- Long Island Adventureland
561. Steel Hawg- Indiana Beach
562. Crazy Mouse- North American Midway Entertainment (Farrow)
563. Sea Dragon- Columbus Zoo (Wyandot Lake)
564. Avalanche- Amusements of America
565. Pepsi Python- Coney Island (Cincinatti)
566. Evel Knievel- SFStL
567. Maverick- Cedar Point

So far that's it, I might head to to Minneapolis to see the bears game next month if everyone doesn't back out, will swing by Mall of America and pick up the Eurofighter credit. Also I don't count how many rides I get on specific coasters, I have better things to do with my time/life. Though I rode just about every coaster at every park I visited excluding most kiddy coasters.

My best year was 2001 with 188 credits in one year. Costs to much to pull stuff like that off though :)
Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder
Favorite Steel: Voltron Nevera, Steel Vengeance, Expedition GeForce, Olympia Looping
Parks visited: 232, Coasters Ridden: Steel: 894, Wood: 179, Total: 1073

I do that on CoasterCounter.com since I usually only ride everything at a park once (unless something's really good)

I still contend that that sort of information/record keeping doesn't benefit me in any way shape or form. Maybe I've gone old school but I just ride rides for the fun of it these days, outside of a basic track record and list of parks visited in txt format on my computer, I don't keep track of stuff.

I wouldn't other than coastercounter.com has the feature of allowing you to enter how many rides for each coaster so each time I update my count I add how many rides I got (because unless something is really good I'll only ride it once anyway)

also I get in the situation alot of riding stuff repeatedly just cause it has a short line or cause it's ERT, now at Moreys this past July I sat on the SLC for an hour and a half with one break to use the bathroom, I couldnt even guess how many rides I got, probably somewhere between 30-50 rides.

Oh yeah well if it's an event with ERT I won't keep track I'll just estimate, like at HWN in 06 I sat on Raven the last hour of ERT and must've gotten around 20 rides but I'm not 100% on those...but if I'm just visiting a park I'll usually ride each credit only once (except the good ones)

Here are mine.

Superman - Ultimate Flight
Ragin' Cajun
Iron Wolf
Raging Bull
Viper
Demon
Whizzer
American Eagle - Red Side
The Dark Knight
Vertical Velocity
Batman - The Ride
Little Dipper - Kiddieland
American Eagle - Blue Side
Spacely's Sprocket Rockets
Evel Knievel - SFSTL
Mr. Freeze - SFSTL
The Boss - SFSTL
Tony Hawk's Big Spin - SFSTL
Batman - The Ride - SFSTL

Yes, all the Great America ones are new to me as I had never been to the park before late August and already made 13 trips there. Next years new credits for me are all the ones at the big 8 in FL (all 4 Disney parks, 2 Universal parks, Seaworld and Busch) that are open before April 8th(come on new Universal ride open by then.) Might even get to hit the Dells as well, but a week at Disney is not cheap even with the new deal (book 4 nights get 3 free.)

Honestly workin at CP gave me the opportunity to visit more parks cause all my crew members/co-workers, are all "coaster crazy". i used to only visit one park a year beside great america weekly haha, and that was CP.

The parks I got to this season were...
Kings island- Adventure express, *Beast, *Son of beast, Backlot stunt coaster, Firehawk, flightdeck, *flight of fear, *Invertigo, Racer, Rugrats, & vortex.

Hershey park- *Fahrenheit, Great bear, *lightning racers, side winder, sooperdooperlooper, *Stormrunner, Trail blazer, Wildcat.

Dorney park- *Hydra, Steel force, *Talon, thunderhawk, *Voodoo, Wild mouse, Woodstocks Express, Laser.

SFStl- Batman, *Evel knievel, *Mr. Freeze, ninja, River king, Screamin eagle.

*My favorites in that park.

Yeah

That was terrible. I was halfway through the ride cycle and you're like here we are on credit number 343 and I'm like lets see this is... 400!! And then that was followed by a ton of swears and me pulling out my 400 sign. Good times.

There aren't any park rules at Astroland my friend. I did break a parking rule though. I parked next to the cyclone for two hours and didn't pay the meter. I didn't get caught though so it's ok.
