Found this on CoasterBuzz...

For those who don't know, people in Arlington have been mass-complaining about Six Flags over Texas getting a liquor license.

Since when does selling alcohol automatically mean someone is going to get drunk? I like to enjoy a beer or alcoholic beverage when Im out with my girlfriend, does that mean im automatically drunk?

And paying like 6 dollars for a beer at the park, I think Ill just have one thanks.

People in society really need to quit sticking there nose in other peoples business.

I have no strong opinion one way or the other on that, but from what I gather in Texas....

Drive thru liquor store, where people in cars driving on public roads are handed full bottles of liquor..... A-OK!

Beer sold at amusement park, where no one is driving an uncontrolled vehicle and there is plenty of security along with a price on that beer that makes it nearly impossible to get drunk unless you have a huge line of credit or a second mortgage on your house...... Evil for even suggesting it!

Yep, makes sense to me :D

the logic of little kids make me laugh sometimes. I was laughing as I was reading this. At least those kids know their drug and alcohol awareness, I guess.

It made me laugh too. because the drunk people will not be vomiting at kids or anyone on the ride? Why? The ride ops won't let them ride the ride\coaster under being influance. That's the rule. I saw many people not getting a ride becausethey were drunk
Six Flags Ameirca as the number 1 park at SFI.... this is JOKE!

haha, I am so tempted to make a visit in their class and explain to them how Mickey has been allowing drinking in his parks for many many years! How bout that for a dream buster? Seriously, there is no reason for these complaints, especially since their Sea World allows alcohol too (if i'm not mistaken). Great article Jon!

So, in the minds of these kids, the only way to get sick on a ride is to drink alcohol? I'll rememeber that the next time I see a guy stuff his face at Mooseburger and then get right on Batman. I'll have no worries riding with him because food can't make him sick on rides...only alcohol can! :D

Well, why couldn't they just stamp your hand for every beer you've had and keep track of it that way.
