Carowinds New Names

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

Well Carowind's has some new coaster names

Top Gun will be renamed "Flight Deck"
Borg will be renamed "Nighthawk"


Could be worse. They could have named Top Gun "Beaver Land Mine Ride."

Kings Dominion's Italian Job Turbo Coaster has also been renamed to "Back Lot Stunt Coaster.

Well for Borg I think Nighthawk is better but Top Gun not really.

Too bad, the only cool part about that ride was the point where you fly around the BORG Sphere.

Sucks, while I rode it as Stealth at PGA so it wouldnt have been a credit anyways, I missed out on Borg at PCw, really long story, but end of the story is as I was standing on the exit ramp waiting to be seated the ride went down for the night. Also Top Gun was closed most of the day, only got one ride on that. Wasnt all that impressed with PCw :)
