Ok, so we've all seen sites of people featuring their unsafe looking coaster. Hell, at one point there was a guy who had built himself a looping coaster off of his barn. But this one is impressive, it's construction looks like exactly how any company would build a wooden coaster. http://www.jeremyreid.com/Oh, I know there is a topic that just started about this on CB. I'm not copying it. I found it on Slashdot just like the guy at CB. Darn other enthusiasts who read Slashdot!
Wow that one looks very good. I wounder what I would do with a miny rollercoaster in my back yard. ( Charge people to ride it of course.)

Well of course it looks and is built like a real wooden coaster look at his Resume. He's worked for Arrow and even helped design the 4D(which I get to ride tomorrow YAY!). Pretty impressive.

It looks like it cost him $5,500. Hmm, now to earn some extra money. My aunt's got a farm, so I've got the space... Lol.
I wonder how he is building this...i mean like where did he get directions?
he workn on X so he knows the ropes. I think he could of made it do more but i like it but that blue loop coaster this guy made is alsome.

He got them at his local Wal Mart in the automotive section. They have a whole kit, complete with a 10 step direction sheet, on how to build a wooden coaster. I've seen it, but never bought it because it costs $5,500. I don't have that kind of money to burn, or the space nessessary to build it. I did, however, see a kit to build a 100' long, 10' high 4th dimension coaster. There were also kits from B&M. They have an awesome looking Dive Machine kit, with a 40' drop with a really tight pullout. They also sold B&M flying, floorless, and inverted coaster kits. However, unlike the Arrow coasters, which price's maxed out at about $10,000 for the 4D, B&M's started at $25,000... and went all the way up to $47,500 for the dive machine!Have I been sarcastic enough yet? If you've read this far, please let me know if I've been sarcastic enough for this kid's question yet.

People are complimenting your creation and you are going to go and do that to them? That is just not right. I'm not trying to be mean but you should thank people when they compliment you, if someone wants to build a model like you did you should tell them how you did it. Not be rude about it. People are not going to put up with it for much longer. I know you are a moderator, and I respect you, but please respect us.

Travis the guy who built the coaster off his barn is John Ivers. The coaster is called The Blue Flash. The chain speed is very slow but for a good reason. That thing must pull about 7 Gs when going through the inversion. There arent any brakes on it so it hits the chain pretty fast. No damage is done though. If you go to http://www.negative-g.com you can look at pictures of it and see a video of it on action.

Wow, that Blue Flash looks pretty intense... I wouldn't mind taking a ride on that!
Id like to go on it too. Thinking about how unsafe it seems would make the ride better.

The ride does look fun. But the drop reminds e of shockwave (sigh)
if you watch Richie Rich you'll see that he has own roller coaster- and if you watch you'll notice it's a clone of B&M's Iron Wolf at SFGAm... same layout colors and everything!

I would love to have Iron Wolf in my backyard!!If you guys were to pick any coaster from SFGAm to build in your backyard what would you pick? (Excluding the size of backyards, lol)
I would want Deja Vu in my backyard, but I would also of course need alot of mechanics to come with and work full time in my backyard for the many breakdowns that happen each day
