The old Demon sign is gone. There is nothing burried under the hill. If they really did burry just cover up the old sign, you'd still be able to see the top of the hole.

In that picture of the old sign, notice there are only 2 rows of bricks above the hole. On the current sign, there are 4 rows of bricks visible above ground.

The drain on the sign would drip red watter out of it.. I would assume the pond part of the sign is under the hill...

I have extensively looked at both pictures, and I have come to a conclusion. In my opinion, the old sign is not buried underneath this sign. However, in my opinion I think all of the old sign is used in the new sign. The sewer thing you can just take off remember.

In my opinion (again ), I feel that they had to cut the old sign's platform with a saw to just to fit enough for the Demon letters.. You can see that they are the same types of bricks. To me, it looks like they took the first two brick rows on the bottom of the old Demon sign (being cut off partially), and the top two brick rows (plus that white thing right underneath the Demon thing) from the old sign. They put them together, and you have the new Demon sign without the sewer.

Basically, it's the old Demon signs 2 bottom rows, and 2 top rows with them being cut just to fit the Demon letters.

I think we were lucky to get the Demon song back this year. I would have been cool to get the sign back too.

Yeah, i do like the letters in the old one. However, I was never really a huge fan of the drain pipe, but to each his own i guess.
