Hey everyone, hope you all are having a great summer. I'm off to the east cost next weekend and I was wondering if anyone on here can suggest how I should plan my days at SFGADV? Any suggestions would be great. Have Fri - Sun to work with at the park.
I was just at GAdv, see my TR if you like (the East Coast one). First off, Fri-Sun will be PACKED so have fun with that. Kingda Ka and El Toro most likely wont open with the park. If KK is open go to that, if not go to ET. If both arent open do w/e you want. When I was there every ride was a 1 or 2 train wait except KK and ET, but it was 100 degrees out so cant help ya there. Make sure to get a night ride on ET and Nitro, those are amazing.
I've usually gone this late but to Cedar Point. This year we thought we would go for a change of pace and head to SFGADV. Usally Cedar Point wasn't that busy because most families have already taken vacations cause the kids start school usually around the 21st of August. I'm hoping this will make a differance in the attendance as it seem to do so at Cedar Point. The lines there always seemed to be less than 5 mins or even a walk on. Except for the biggies Millenium Force & Top Thrill. So maybe I will only have to wait 2 hrs for El Toro and Kingda Ka! If not oh well. LOL
Well I'm going on a Friday. How bad are the crowds on Fridays? What should I hit in the park? Flats, roller coasters, water rides, etc.
How is food pricing? Is the electronic fast pass thing worth while?
Top 10 Rollercoasters: 1. El Toro 2. Kingda Ka 3. Superman: Ride of Steel 4. Millenium Force 5. Magnum XL: 200 6. Nitro 7. Raging Bull 8. Medusa 9. Gemini 10. B:TR
That parks beautiful...yes im judging that statement after only pics ive seen but still, look at it. It looks better off than us honestly.
Theyve got great landscaping, awsome attention to detail twords themeing especially recently, theyre actually working twords family more, and what most want...great rides, good upkeep on them as well.

Thats funny. They have no flats, just empty spots where there used to be flats!
Iggy--- Whoever goes have fun at that hellhole. Great rides, sucky park.
Yeah, why did they take away so many flats there? I was recently on a site that showed some of their flats and generally underneath the pictures it said "This ride was removed in (put year here)."

Planing on heading to the waterpark for a day while I'm here, does anyone know where or if there is somewhere you can purchase discounted Hurricane Harbor tickets other that the website?
