Looks like more snip-snip from corperate...
Darien, NY (WBEN) - Six Flags Darien Lake's season will end four weeks early. The park's parent company says Darien Lake will close down on October 1st.
In a statement to NewsRadio 930 WBEN, a Six Flags Darien Lake spokesperson would only say the park's annual Fright Fest would be moved to late September because of the unpredictable weather that happens in late October.
But the park's Batman stunt show suddenly shut down last week. A pair of rides have shut down, and hours have been cut five of seven days each week.
Six Flags has been struggling financially and last month, announced it was considering selling Six Flags Darien Lake along with several other parks.
