I'm going to SFKK in a couple of weeks. I know about their coasters but does the park have any good flats?

That park is garbage. Chang is ok, better than Iron Wolf. T2 is rough but still a fun ride. Their woodies are pretty lame, especially Twisted Twins. Hellevator is an Intamin drop tower, but its not nearly as tall as Giant Drop. Greezed Lightnin will prolly be closed, I didnt get to ride it. Its prolly the best ride there...

IMHO, the park is not garbage. You can have a good day there..just don't go in w/ too high of expectations.

In regards to flats, I heard that Breakdance is running very well this year. They also have a nice Vekoma wheel (which I believe is the same type that they have at Navy Pier). It has been a few years since I've been on it, but for raft rides, Penguin's Blizzard River is pretty good.

The coasters can be fun if the lines aren't too long. :) Thunder Run is an excellent coaster (ride in the 2nd row from the front). Twisted Twins is OK...sometimes they can be really fun if they've been recently greased. Chang has good and bad days IMHO. T2 is one of the first SLC's...that's all you need to know about that. GL goes up and down during the day most of the time so just keep an eye on it and hopefully it will open.

Have a fun day. :)

^I agree SFKK is a good park, with a decent collection of coasters.

Nah, SFNE has a decent collection. I dont think a park with their best coaster being a stand-up qualifies as a "decent collection".

However, I dont know how good GL is.

Like Cryptkeeper said, Breakdance is running really well this year, their Huss Rainbow is pretty decent, Enterprise seems to be a short cycle, Hellevator is one of the better drop rides around, Huss Pirate shows it's age, if you like long fast rides ride the himilaya in the front half of the park near the motion sim, Chaos is gone like all other SF Chaos', rest of the flats are nothing to write home about.

No, there Himalaya is a Reverchon Himalaya. It just like the Wisdom Himalaya that goes around to all the carnivals. However, this is a little better. You go around in a circle, and your cars don't swing at all. You get pushed to the outer edge.

They also have a motion simulator with Hannah Barbara, and Penguin's Blizzard River which is themed Roaring Rapids. Not only that, but they have a waterpark in the actual park. It's not huge though, but you might want to try it. I believe they also have Bumper Cars.
