I dont typically post stuff from Screamscape, but here are some photos of the rehab work being done on the Ride formally known as Tidal Wave.
Check out the pictures here from ScreamScape
According to the website, the peices of the ride where from PGA's old Tidal Wave ride.

That is a waist. Has anyone rode it? How rough was it? Im sure the parts they dont use will be sold as scrap metal.

At least they found a good use for the PGA Tidal Wave instead of recycling the entire thing. It's kinda cool that the two MGA Tidal Waves will now become one ride.
Finally Coaster Season!!

The ride is 30 years old, so of course its going to have some wear and tear... When I rode it at SFKK the issue with the ride was it not going all that high on the back spike..
Then again the only ride like that that really gave alot of airtime was Montazuma's Revenge. Astroworld's Greezed Lightnin' was pretty much the same airtime wise as SFKKs.

Back when it was Tidal Wave at GA, it wasn't that rough at all. For its day, it was a halfway decent ride. One night, I managed to get 7 consecutive rides on it.

That can't be Tidal Wave since TW had a white train.
