Season Pass Ideas

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

I was thinking that Six Flags could make more money by upping season pass prices. Im thinking $149.99 for a regular one and I had this idea for one that had speed pass included so that every time you went to a park you could get like 5 free speed passes and you could jsut scan your pass. Im thinking this could cost $199.99. What are your thoughts on this?

How about $150 for a pass and unlimited fastlanes for season pass holders?

That would be a little low I think for unlimited fast lane. How about 199.99 fir a season pass with unlimited fast lane.

That would be more reasonable than raising the one-day admission price, which is already expensive. Either way, by giving all season passholders a free fastlane, you would be creating another line since there are A LOT of season passholders. I still like Disney's fastlane.

$150 sounds about right. Disney's annual pass pays for itself in about 6 single-day visit tickets, but since Great America isn't open year round, paying for itself after 4 sounds about right. I wish they'd convert the FastLane system to be like Disney's. It's simple to use, and simplicity is a necessity for the stupid guests. :)

Yeah, since there are a lot of season passholders there would be no use in having it already included in the regular season pass.

msoeagle, for Disney's FastPass system, it's free and it's included for everyone: regular ticketholders and annual passholders.

hrmm, actually I perfer the $41 SFKK Season Pass, dont need perks at that price, as the whole season costs less than one regular admission (though I think prices went up this year, havent looked into a SF season pass yet)

Oh, I didn't know that. Is that the thing that you scan and it schedules a ride for you?

SF should be around $120 to compete with Cedar Point. Theres is $100, but their general admission is still $40
