First off I just wanted to see who here has been on a B&M diver, and then tell how your experience was. I just wanted to view everyone's opinions on these coasters.
Sheikra looks like the way to go and that ride looks fun. Maybe later on there can be more and greater sudden vertical drops, but even three may be enough
Honestly it's one of the most awful coasters I've ridden. Part the parks fault and part the ride itself.
Parks fault is the 2 hour long winding queue that is randomly seperated down the middle by fencing, linejumpers love it.
And for the ride, it's a lift, rather mediocre drop, turn, brakes. You are left on the final brakes thinking, "That was it?" "I waited for that?" and "What a ripoff!"
Though I'd assume Sheikra would be alot better with something other than just a drop.

Yeah Oblivion looks horrible. I can't believe how short it is. G5 looks better because it doesn't go underground as much and it actually feels like your falling 180 ft. Sheikra by far is the best dive macine yet.
I don't know if any of you guys have seen my park, Six Flags Wisconsin Dells. I am thinking about adding a Dive machine but I'm not sure.

See, Oblivion has this appeal to me. Even though I know its layout, it seems to demonstrate a feel of wonder because of its deep tunnel I guess To the park, it was a worlds first, a prototype, a new way to go vertical. So for the time it was meant to be simple and for one thing as we know...the drop. Although now it may seem too little. I just love the hype it gives. Sheikra does look so much better however....more to offer.
I think the cool part of them would be riding on an end, that way you get pulled around the turns since you aren't directly above the track. Although, i haven't had the privilege of riding one. How are the lateral gs?
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
No laterals at all, the only turn on the ride is banked to the point where it's all positive G's. That and the turn at the top of the lift is powered and goes extremely slow.

Yes, they're so simple but thats (in a way) what is appealing about them.
I thought of something a couple weeks back that still has not left my mind for a "unique" dive machine...
Alright, I thought the section the ride would be devoted to would be a war like area or old battle zone like area and have the diver(coaster) be the "destruction". Seeing that they literally dive, I thouht the shuttles could have a bomb like motif. Then as it dives into the ground speakers hidden in the brush, would make an awful crashing battle noise...simular to what they have GD or Hellevator do for FF, but more bomb like...so...
The hole the trains or shuttles fall into would be broken ground and concrete rising up with a tall barb wire fence as well to appear as if somethin' crashed into it. I'd like this one to also have multiple verticl drops and more dropped bomb holes or sites. The track would all have the same dark feeling and appearence as Oblivion, but the shuttles would have a solid black scheme with dark red harnesses and sides. The bomb(s) would be attached along the sides of the vehicles resembling just what they demonstrate to be.
Sheikra is AMAZING! It is so smooth, and those drops give feelings of total weightlessness. It's a nice layout, so it doesn't feel like you dive 2 times as well as an inversion all in a row, it's nice and spread out. And really, there isn't much downtime. I was on it in October (on the Friday before Halloween) and I waited only 15 minutes. The ride had no breakdowns the entire day.

How come they don't make rollercoasters with a 90 degree drop but still be normal. Like without being such a sudden drop and having that break. They should make a drop like raging bull but just be 90 degrees instead of such a sudden drop with a break there. I'm sorry It is kind of hard to explain.

I do agree that Sheikra even appears to be amazing, its nearly or if not...a perfect "diving" coaster. B&M really know how make a coaster, and we all knew that
For those of you who have been on or around one I have a little question...
Are they as much fun to watch as they are to ride? I just hear people talkin' about this so I wanted to see your opinions. I love to watch them, but have never ridden one, like the first pic. in our sites BGtampa photozone, I love the small pic of Sheikra's initial drop labled "the big daddy of BG"...
It's fun to watch, but much better to ride! But when you watch the ride while you're in line, it gets you so excited and pumped to go on the ride. And watching the expressions on people's faces... now that's even better!

I love seein' peoples expressions no matter what coaster...
When I put my friend on Deja Vu her first time, she pushed on her harness to make sure her back touched the back of the seat, her eyes wide open, and she screamed with her head shakin side to side....oh was it funny, she cried when it arrived back to the station and did I have the laugh of a lifetime
She cant do anything with a vertical drop because of me , so I would die watchin' her on a dive machine....
You have not posted in so long Eric!
That was somethin'. Well however, I like steep drops but I'm dieing to experience a dive machine...they look graceful(I know that sounds strange), yet so exciting/thrilling!
Before SheiKra, Dive Machines were usually just a 200 ft drop, a couple turns, and into the station. Sheikra is about twice as long as the usual dive machine. SheiKra was a decent ride, I wouldn't call it the best coaster ever though.
When you estimate, 187 estimates to 200. You'll learn this in 3rd or 4th grade. The tunnels were obvious, and excuse me for saying a couple of turns instead of one.
Well I'm sorry but I thought that it was funny that you were describing the coaster when I just posted a video of one. You don't need to describe the layout, everyone know already from that video.
