Zeus fastest wooden coaster in mid west?

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

I was just looking at the Big Chiefs brochure and it said that Zeus is the fastest wooden coaster in the mid west with speeds over 60 m.p.h, but isn't American Eagle at SFGAm 66 m.p.h? So, this brings me to my question which is faster Eagle or Zeus? How fast exactly is Zeus?

I am pretty sure that American Eagle is faster because Zeus has only a 90 foot drop. AE goes 66 mph and it has a 147 foot drop. There is no way that Zeus could be faster.
My Top 5: 1)TTD, 2)Millennium Force, 3)Raptor, 4)Deja Vu, 5)Raging Bull

According to http://www.rcdb.com, Zeus has a speed of 60 mph and American Eagle has a speed of 66 mph. Using my geographical skills, I would place Ohio in the Midwest, with Son of Beast being the fastest wooden coaster with speeds of over 78 mph.

Yeah, it all depends on what you call midwest... I consider GAm in the midwest, so for me the fastest woodie would be American Eagle... I'm not sure about Ohio though.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Eagle is faster, since I have ridden both. But Zeus still gives one hell of a ride, especialy at night. One of my favorie woodies.

Simple answer: It's the Dells, they lie all the time.Complex answer: It's the Dells, they lie all the time. Zeus is not the fastest in the midwest.More complex answer: Zeus is the fastest coaster in the midwest of the Dells.

Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin make up the Midwest. Son Of Beast is the fastest.
