I think that Kentucky will be the next to go. However, Elitch Gardens reminds me of Astroworld since it is in a small space in a downtown area so that might be the next. Hopefully, there won't be another murder of an innocent amusement park.
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
Six Flags America????? Thats snyder's stomping grounds, that park is staying. SFEG makes is a much more profitable park then SFAW, it should be here for awhile.
I don't think that anything will close, but I think that a new owner might cut loose some of the smaller, less profitable properties and stick with a core of about 8 to 10 parks.

I highly doubt any parks will close. A few of the underperformers may be sold, and it will be up to the buyer on what to do with them, continue to operate it as a park or bulldoze it in favor of condos. But SF itself wont be closing any parks just for the hell of it like what was done at Astroworld.

SFGAm isn't going anywhere for a long time. If you really look into this, we have 13 coasters. Not many parks have 10 or more roller coasters in them. SFGAm is close to a record breaker for most coasters in a park (of course we wont beat Cedar Point or Magic Mountain because they are the 2 biggest competing parks). But SFGAm is defenitly up there in the "most roller coasters in a park" catigory in the record books.
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu

I can see this park leaving the SF chain. Snyder talked about possibly selling it to Amheiser Busch. The park is not yet purchased by Six Flags, just operated by them. Snyder is not interested into buying more parks at this time.

They are required to rebuild it, but they had stated in the last conference call that the amount of insurance they carried will be enough to rebuild.
I have heard that SFSTL may be on the block. There is a lot of development in the Eureka area, but most of it is due to the prescence of SFSTL and the extra tourism. I would think it would go to a new company and still remain a theme park, but who knows.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.
Well...I dont think Darien Lake will go because its the closest Six Flags park in the Buffalo\Niagra Falls area. Fiesta Texas won't go because that is one of Six Flags' most sceinic park. Six Flags Marine World won't go because: 1. Its the only SF park in that HEAVILY populated area. 2.Like said before, it is very sucessful. I think that if 1 HAD to go without choice... he would let go of Kentucky Kingdom. I dont like that park. From the PICTURES I've seen... it looks poorly put together and kept. Thats my opinion.
