I know that a lot of you have been to many different parks and i was wondering if anyone has found a park that you love and that isn't normally recognized?
Mine would have to be Dollywood. Tennessee Tornado is the only coaster of it's kind that i would even place on my coaster countdown and a lot of the rides there have great theming. I had a great time there. Has anyone found a park that isn't normally talked about that you find to be one of your favorites?

Mine would be Little-Amerika. Not exactly a thrill park but fun.

I'd say Dollywood. We had a cheerleading competition in Tennessee, and we took my friend on Tennessee Tornado, but she had never been on a coaster before! It was a great ride, and a nice classic park.

Worlds of Fun :D since I go to The University of Kansas, I've started going there in April and May, as well as in September and October. It's a great little park, and there are NEVER any lines. The longest I waited for The Mamba this past season was like 4 trains....and it's a great ride. The park should be even better this coming season with the addition of The Patriot.

700 East Main Street Marshall, Wisconsin 53559 USA, Its close to Johnson Creek outlets. Its kind of like a good fair that stays in one place.

Not really... maybe Geauga Lake if it counts, cause from what I've heard not a lot of people go there. Especially the one day I went there, wow... :D

Other than that I haven't really been to any "small" parks lately. I haven't been to many parks at all actually. The last small park I went to was Santa's Village some years back, and I loved that little park. Typhoon was good.

Typhoon gave my aunt brain damage. The restraints and/or headrest was too hard and it caused internal bleeding on her brain. She almost died until the doctors obviously fixed it. She had a baby who was then 2 wondering why mommy wouldnt wake up....my uncle who is a wealthy man beleived since he was so enraged, that he would go about lawsuits thinking he would win, but yeah...that coaster has since given other people many problems. It needs to be demolished!

I'm so sorry about your aunt. Typhoon was never that rough for me though. Course there was headbanging, but it wasn't bad in my experience at all.

She is alright now and my cousins 4, but she said the same you did but noticed she had a migrane for a couple days  She forgets things sometimes but it comes back...I just never liked the sight of it so I never rode it and now I see what its done to her.

I went on it a few years ago and also found the headbanging was a little extreme.

Lakeside Park - Denver, CO. I have a TR on this site about the park, and I can't wait to visit it again.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.

Dollywood. Thunderhead is the BEST wooden coaster. Geauga Lake is kind of a hidden gem too. Valleyfair, SFFT, SFMW, and the former SFAW round out the hidden gems.

What do you guys think about kiddyland? I think that it is a lot of fun, despite everyone saying it is for little kids. Their frog hopper is great and it basically seems like a permanent carnival.

^ I go every year. One of the big turnons for that park is that in the daytime, all of the big rides aren't crowded and there is unlimited soft drinks.

Indiana Beach And Holiday World, amazing parks, Dollywood is the sex. And, they have the #1 wooden coaster = Thunderhead, back seat on it is sick. And the employee's there are very energetic..."Let The Thunder Roll."

I agree with you on Indiana Beach. I just went there for the first time last summer and it was a surprise to me how good it was.
