hahah I remember that!

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

It kept getting stuck at the top the day I was at CP, and the line for TTD was like 4 hours anyway, so my family and I just decided to skip it. I wish I could've ridden it, though!

Sorry, not exactly "stuck", but breaking down a lot. Like the launch wouldn't give enough power, so it would roll abck down. Then they would have to close it. When it opened again, there would be another problem, and it would keep on opening and closing. But yes, it did get stuck at the top one time when I was there.

If you watch megastructures about KK, it shows the constant struggle of rollbacks after launch....it "teases" them as it crests the top and of course rolls backwards.

It would be fun to rollback, for fright fest they should have kk go backwards. I downloaded real player and I still cant get the cbs one to work.

It worked fine for me. I was talking to a friend at work who had Top Thrill Dragster rollback on him and he said it made the ride better because you get two launches and a longer ride. He also said it was good airtime going backwards with just the lap bar. As far as it going backwards for Fright Fest, the only problem i see is the fact that when you launch, you won't be able to put your head back. I see neck problems from that one.

Kingda Ka's trains aren't like Eagles. The assembly isnt the same forwards as backwards.

Eagle's trains are set up, so where they can easily be turned around and whatnot. In Kingda Ka, it's a catchcar like launch system. So they would need to make WHOLE new trains just to run it reversed.

Not a good investment in my eyes when it's already as popular as it is.

Not to mention that if someone was screwing around and wasn't prepared for the launch, they could be seriously injured because of whiplash.

Yeah the acceleration g's would be pulling you out of your seat instead of into it. That would never happen. It would be too dangerous. Does anyone know how many acceleration g's that Kingda Ka pulls?

Did you guys like that site that I posted earlier? It has a POV video of every rollercoaster at SFGAm. It's pretty cool.
