Whats the possibility of gasm being removed? I was reading some information on another forum and they said that sfgadv was thinking of possibly removing it? Whats the possibility of this?

Basically 0% chance right now. GASM just got a new coat of paint for this year so I would say it still has at least 5 years left (hopefully more).

If you're talking about SFGAdv's I doubt it. They just re-painted it over the off season.
I wouldn't see SFOG's leaving soon either.

I don't know, GASM in my opinion is more rough than Shockwave was. No it will not be removed this year, or even the next. But it's an aging coaster that has a huge land plot.

I hope it doesnt get removed, i want to ride it. I never got to ride shockwave cause the one chance i had to ride it I was scared, i was young. Hopefully I will go 2 sfgadv in 06 or at the latest 07.
I'm running to Bull on opening day, anyone gets in my way and they'll get trampled.

Also the loops divert the train to the right instead of the left, for a smoother Block turn transition.
Also as a side note, I get a chuckle every time I see construction pics of ElTorro and there is Shockwaves old Red Train sitting in the construction area.

No because they were replaced in 2000. Sf was probably to lazy to put it onto the storage track.

Everyone always talkes about the turn into the midcourse brakes. I never got to ride shockwave so could someone tell me what was so important about that.

I heard one reason SW was taken down was because an axle broke when a train went throught that turn.

The train is sitting there. SFGAdv may be opening up a rust farm.
Though I bet at some point that train will make it onto GASM, next season I'd guess.
