2006 SFSTL Schedule

When will it be out? Also, does anyone know if they had opening day on a Friday in 2004 like they did this yr?

Not sure when the schedule would be out, but I know in 2004 they opened on April 9th which was a Friday.

April 9th? Thats alot later than opening day was this yr.

Usually SF posts the schedules for their seasonal parks between Jan and March (the earlier in the year the park opens the earlier they post the schedule obviously) I'd expect to see SFStL's operating schedule probably in Feb or so.

It has opened Good Friday of Easter weekend the last two years!

Good Friday isnt til the 14th this yr. Does that mean its going to open that late?

No it was just coincidence. If Six Flags really based their operating schedule off of Catholic holidays we'd all be screwed. :shock:

SFSTL does base their opening on Good Friday. I don't know why, but they do. Look for it to be the 14th.

Schedule usually isn't up until late Jan / early Feb.

Well, if they do, the only way I would see why is because that is also Easter weekend, and it's pretty much a holiday that almost everyone celebrates no matter what religion you are (like Christmas), although I have yet to find one person that spends Easter at Six Flags.

I think that's where I should get my parents to take me during Spring Break. Since my birthday is in the middle of spring break, I could possibly convince them to take me down to SFSTL.

My spring break is the week before

April 1st is the opening date.

I'd end up going either opening weekend or the 14th & 15th. If I go opening weekend, we'd either have to go to the park for a few hours on that Sunday, or just go on Saturday since I have school on Monday. I think going the 14th-15th would be better cause I'd be there both days for the whole day. Since its closed the 16th, we can go back home then.

Then again, I'm probably keeping my hopes up a little too high, but I can see this working out if I can pay for the trip.
