Do you think Cedar Point will get a new Worlld Record Breaking coaster in the future? I personally think they will because every time a park gets a new world record breaking coaster, Cedar Point always has something up their sleeve and eventually pulls it off and has a new coaster as #1 in the world record breaking coaster book.

It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu
They will always pull the title of tallest and fastest off at some point. Not anytime soon however, maybe within 4-5 years. I believe they want to get TTD running more consistently first, and will continue adding flats such as MaXAir.
I don't want to jump to conclusions but watch for them to get another awesome flat next year. I'm going out toward the end of october so I will definetly be looking at the "construction markings" back by frontiertown and judge for myself, it's hard to tell in the pictures that are floating around.
One thing is for sure though, I can't wait to see what CP will do to break the 500ft mark Perhaps by that time we will need to be put in little pressurized cabins so our ears don't blow out...
Correct me if i am wrong, but couldn't a Frequent Faller roller coaster from Interactive Rides reach a height of 500 feet and be "safe" enough to ride. That would be awesome!

That would be cool...but If it's 500ft I'd rather just have one huge drop instead of that layout. Good idea however.
1. Voyage
2. X
3. Millenium Force
4. Top Thrill Dragster
5. Raging Bull
I could be wrong but, if CP does get a new tallest and fastest coaster, I believe that it will be 540 feet tall. If you think about it, they seem to have some sort of pattern going. 125', 205', 310', 420', and next possibly 540'.

Why doesn't someone build a normal sized one first before we go talking about 500 footers.
They are planning futur expansion with putting Demon Drop up for sale, but I would think they are going to go for quality and something unique this time since learning about the growing pains for dragster. Just an opinion.

a lot of strange markings, such as the one shown in the link below, are beginning to show up towards the back of the park near White Water Landing and the Town Hall Museum. It could all easily just be for utilities or maintenance however.
What type of ride would even fit where demon drop is now? It is such a long and narrow location. The only thing i can think of is a Halfpipe coaster, but they already have wicked twister.

That whole area up there in the corner has a lot of room that no one really goes back and checks out.. it would make a nice front piece for a coaster to be there from the opposite side of raptor.

If you go to http://www.interactiverides.com you can see pictures of the Frequent Faller coaster. I would explain, but it is difficult to describe. It is the coaster that Hersheypark was supposed to get this year (Turbulence).

^you know, now that i am thinking about it, they did say that if they had no buyers that it would stay there. Maybe Demon Drop's spot is for a later investment.
