Golden Tickets in: Raging Bull at 9 whizzer at 50

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

I was really surprised to see whizzer on the list, even at fifty. I was also dissapointed to see that Great American Scream Machine at Six Flags Over Georgia did not make the woodie list. Oh well. Here is the link.

^It doesn't suprise me to not see Great American Scream Machine on there. Remember this is a woodie, NOT the one at SFGAdv (in case people think that). Viper, and BTR are also on that list. SUF is on that list at SFOG (even though they are very similiar).

It also figures that Mr. Freeze, and Screamn' Eagle are not on that list. Mind Bender at SFOG also made it at on the list. I don't know how. Shockwave (which looks like MB) at SFOT also made it on the list. :?

I want to know how the Boss (SFStL), and Mean Streak (CP) got on the woodie list? People can't even take 5 rides on the Boss. Mean Streak is just so boring. I hear alot of people complain about Georgia Cyclone at SFOG also because it is so rough. However, I do like it. So, how did that beat the Great American Scream Machine? How is Raptor 11, but yet BTR is really down there? I like both of them about equal. Yes, they are different, but they are still equal to me.

Rant: Raging Bull at 9 is rediculous. And yes, Mindbender deserves to be on there. Raptor at 11 is so laughable. I have no idea why enthusiasts love that ride enough to get it to 11. Anyone surprised by Kingda Ka at 30? TTD is at 7...I haven't rode TTD so I can't say but, the CP bias is a bit much. Again, Raptor at 11?

Overall, it's still a nice list.

Oh...500th post.

I loved Raptor when I went to CP. Second best coaster in the park, in my opinion, behind MF.

Wow Mt. Olympus got GREAT publicity in that issue. Nick L. was voted best industry man of the year and Hades did incredibally well. Too bad Avalanche didn't make the top 10, it deserved it.

I do agree that Raging Bull should be higher than magnum. Millenium and TTD deserve high ratings in my opinion.

I'm trying to figure out how RB and AC even made it on the top 10.

As for Magnum, it has a small group of hard core followers most of them recieving a golden ticket ballot (I forgot to send mine in this year dammit, not that many people get golden ticket ballots and mine went to waste)

^Don't you hear that biggger and longer is better?? In my opinion, if MF is number one, RB should be very close behind it considering I couldn't find the diifference. Wow, the first drop is a little bigger, and it's an Intamin. And that's why RB isn't that far behind being 9. I don't think either one of these is superb though even though many people do.

How in world did Blue Streak at CP beat out The Racer at PKI??? IMHO, American Eagle should be on that list instead of Blue Streak.

Cedar Point has so many loyal fans, that is how magnum is #3. The kind of people that get mad because SFGAdv built Kingda Ka.

Maybe not to you but to me MF looks way higher than Raging Bull. To me the drop on Raging bull isn't even intense at all but it is on MF. So I personally believe RB is where it should be considering there are many taller rollercoaster between RB and MF.

I congradulate SFGAm for having 4 coasters in the top 100 of the world. and especially having RB make it to the top ten, it really moved up on the list...probablly because of coaster con =)

I'm going to have to disagree with you there (and it has nothing to do with my PKI-affiliated username  ). Now Racer forwards may be worse than Blue Streak, but recaR kills Blue Streak. No contest. recaR offers some of the best airtime I have had, without hurting you.

^Agreed, on Blue Streak. However, I think that Great American Scream Machine, and Screamn' Eagle are just a little better because they are longer. Screamn' Eagle is my favorite woodie.

They need to survey people outside of CP. I mean, Magnum at #3? Come on. It's great, but not Top Ten worthy. Dragster just needs to die, but I am pleased to see the Bull and Montu up there.

As for best park, CP was great but quality is much better than quantity so obviously I don't think it should have won Best Park. Valhalla must be one heck of a water ride to defeat the three water rides at Islands of Adventure and Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom. Best Dark Ride? No problems there. Finally one I totally agree with.

Eh, these things are overrated anyways. I don't usually get too worked up over them.
Eh, what's up?
