6 more days before the tower tips over or some other incident renders the ride useless for the next year.

HAHAH thats great. maybe, the car wont make it over the top hat, and the breaks will not be up to slow it back down, and will go plowing back into the station full speed ahead

It doesn't say that it is open it says that it will open soon. This is from the Six Flags website.

There was a rumor going around that it had opened, those reports are false. Nobody knows when it will open.

I'm voting for a collision between trains when it's in one train operation (a Six Flags owned park managed to have a log flume burn down, if they can pull that off, single train collision is nothing) :)

SF updates their site around twice a decade. It could be old news. I do not know what to believe. I've got contacts going up to Jersey in a couple weeks, I shall see then.

Im gonna post my TR in a min, but ill give a preview I guess.

The anticipation was crazy. I waited for front row for my first of 5 rides. The launch was unbelieveable. So fast. I could barely see at the end of the launch track. GREAT view from the top at 456 ft up. The drop is sooooo quick. By the time you realize your going down it its over lol. Not my fav. coaster but its in my top 5.

When I went to SFGADV it was closed, but at least I got to go on Storm Runner. I'll probably make my way back up there next year, because a lot of stuff was closed when I was there.

For the people who rode it, does the over-the-shoulder harness have an impact on the overall experience of the ride??

I dont think it did. I really dont see how it could of been better w/o the OTSRs, but I have never rode TTD.

I haven't been on either... but I would assume it has to be better than TTD. It's taller, it's faster, it has that camelback element... It just has more to offer.
