I'm not sure what happened. Over 30 people were injured.

Disney has had a lot of injuries lately.

Edit:

More news

Two trains on the California Screamin' ride at Disney California Adventure bumped into each on Friday evening, leaving at least 60 riders with minor injuries.

The accident occurred just before 6:45 p.m. as one of the trains was coming was ending its ride and hit a second train that was loading passengers, said Michael Simpson, dispatcher for Metronet, which covers the Anaheim Fire Department.

Most of the injured complained of neck and back pain and some were being sent to local hospitals. Simpson said initial reports indicated that there were no serious injuries.

California Screamin' is one of the more popular rides at California Adventure. The ride is shaped too look like a silhouette of Mickey Mouse's head.

Disney needs to shape up with their ride safety.

I think it must be a computer error, since the ops cannot override the blocking system. http://www.coasterquest.com/howitworks.htm click on "What prevents coaster trains from hitting together?"

You're right. I wonder if anyone'll sue? :?

I wonder if it was a problem with blocking or Intamin's brakes which have been known to fail in the past.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

Alot of people are saying it couldnt have been a break failure because they didnt crash at high speeds. it could have been that the breaks started slowing it down, but for some reason released. causing the train to only be slowed down so much.... Maybe they should reduce the number of trains used on that coaster. so that there isnt a worry of pile up
