Overhearing some "coaster" people in line, I heard that if they were any park, they would never buy an Intamin especially another TTD. Its very hard to say that they are right. As I have experienced, people love this ride at CP. Some of CP big rides (that are popular) are Intamin. MF, Maggie!!, Wicked Twister, and TTD are Intamin.
So, do the complete breakdowns even for weeks bother you on buying another Intamin, especially TTD? You also may have heard of injuries on Intamin. If you owned a park, would you buy an Intamin??
If owned some big park, I would probably would buy an Intamin because you have to give the people what they want. I personally do enjoy some of the rollercoasters including TTD. They draw attention because they some Intamins are so big.
I would have a small, fast wooden coaster like Avalanche. I was really impressed with Avalanche and it's my #1 woodie. Its fast, fun and packed with airtime.

Intamin!?!? Nah, not too much into them, don't get me wrong, V2 is great and all(I'm sure TTD, KK, MF, WT, and the others as well are great)
...However the're coasters are mostly 300 to 400+ record breakers, launchers, and the occasional looper and inverted coaster, but those are rare...Now for someone who is better than Intamin, B&M, they provide thrills such as Inverted coasters, Stand-ups, floorless, Hypers(Hyper-Twisters like RB), flying coasters(Superman and Air), and those 90* degree straghit down drop coasters(Oblivion, G5)...
Compare B&M to Intamin and you see, who has had more success, and really changed the coaster market?
I think I'd buy an impulse like VF's or SFGAM's one. I'd also buy a Giga Coaster, and maybe even an xcellerator like they've got at hershey park. I don't think Inty can make a reliable coaster over 310ft though, so no 456+tall coasters at my park.
