As you can see, many markings are showing up around Samurai Summit.
Sumurai Sumit, a section of the park is closed with a sign saying "building for future enjoyment". What do you guys think, are they getting ready to build a new coaster or have a major ex. cap planned like they did at SFGAdv this year?
I get excited when SFGAm gets a new attraction. However, I don't think SFGAm needs more attractions like other parks do. I think the same thing about SFOG, SFOT, SFGAdv, and SFMM. Some other park should have gotten a huge attraction like Kindga Ka (not SFGAdv).
I don't want to see another SF park get sold like Six Flags Ohio because they have junky rollercoasters in it (some, not all of them). If you put a major rollercoaster in, it would definitely boost attendance. SF parks that need something more are DL, Astroworld, KK, NE, NO, and even StL. These are guesses (or have been told by someone) except for KK and StL.
I think all SF Vekoma SLC's should be taken out because they are the biggest piece of junk.
The markings could be anything. It is too early to tell anything as of this moment. According to many people, SFMM can't get it together with what they have. So, why should they get something else?? SFOG, also has no idea what they are doing. People have reported markings at SFOG too.
Just an FYI, they announced a loooong time ago that they were going to be building a new coaster in 2006, and that is the place where it was rumored to be going so it more then likely is where it will be built, but if not there then somewhere else because it has to go somewhere.

If you think they have no idea what they are doing, try running a theme/amusement park for a day.
I agree that SFGAdv is an upper-class park. I personally would rather make another park "upper-class" than pour more things into SFGAdv because it is already.
I would love to run SFOG for a day!!!! I betcha a lot of people would be happier because I would force the mechanics to get two trains on each rc, and close the lines at the appropriate time (not 15 minutes before the park closes). Also, I would stop running ghost trains on rcs. If the mechanics can't get Deja Vu working over there, I would leave them at that ride until they get it working and open to the public.
SFMM being my homepark, I am very disapointed at the addition of a new coaster. That is the last thing we need here now, I really want to see something new other than a coaster, I like variety. We have 3 SBNO rides (Sky Tower(since 2001), Metro(since 2001), Flashback(since 2003) right now, why can't they fix/remove those and then get a new ride?! I think other parks in the chain are much more deserving of a new coaster. I'm just frustrated that they are getting a new coaster when they already have enough difficulty keeping up with what they have.

I think SFGAm also doesn't need any new coasters for a bit. Atm, I really like the look of the park. Sure, I do want a floorless or somthing cool like that but in terms of looks for the park I don't think it would work out, at least not right now. Heck I ain't sure where they could put a new one with out destroying or at least hurting it the look of the park.
I can definetly agree with your post. You guys need to stop getting coasters. If you can't keep up with what you got then step back from getting coasters so you can catch up on what you got. Plus, I don't think a new coaster is gonna help Six Flags as a whole out any how.
Also, 16 coasters?! Don't you think that is a bit excessive? I am a huge fan of coasters but there has to be a limit for each park or else you'll end up destroying the look of your park.
That is my 2 cents.
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/
I wouldn't be surprised if this is NOT the coaster all these SFMM fans are expecting. Though I'm almost positive it is a coaster, it may end up being a wise decision based on past additions.
I'm VERY interested to see what they are building up there and it MAY end up being the coaster they have needed for quite awhile.(And NO, that is not a 500 footer. Sorry. )

Maybe its that rumored 4D.....Oh wait
That rumored...Floorless!! ....damn
i got it! its that rumored nevermind
You cant tell squat from looking at a few trees taken down and some markings on the ground for all you know they could be building a Sushi Bar... But just not any Sushi Bar... no no an Xtreme Sushi Bar!

Well S:TE is no longer SBNO anymore, but it has been down quite often this year. It isn't that great of a ride anyway.
Although I love coasters, I think that with 16 coasters that it's getting old with just coasters to do all day at the park. I'm disappointed, I hope it's a coaster worth the addition unlike Scream. Scream didn't do anything for the park.
With SFMM, there's no way in Hell it's gonna be a standard ride. Maybe it will be a 500 footer that's SBNO 4 days and uses 1 14 passenger train 3 days (like all the other coasters there). It may be wise to put something practical in say, a wild mouse or a small woodie. But SFMM probably won't do that. I could rant about what SFMM needs to do but It's too obvious and i'm tired right now anyway.
Last thing SFMM needs is a 17th coaster. Get all of them running, then you can talk about adding new rides. The fact that even your Sky Tower is SBNO is a little weird. If this is a new coaster, I'm interested in what it could be. Though maybe they are finally going to keep this one running smoothly? It dosen't seem like a wise decision, but maybe SFMM is making a turn for the best.
SFMM is making a turn for the better for all those who are still bashing the park. Recenly every coaster except for Flashback has been open including S:TE, and every coaster has had 2 train operation within the last week. So it is INACCURATE it call the park a SBNO joke anymore.
I know that they have competition all around them, because it's california. But wouldn't people from california rather go there because of the 16 coasters rather than a smaller park like Knott's with only 6 I think? People always say that they do bad because of the competition, but aren't they the best in the GP eyes?
^Yeah that is sort of true a lot of the GP kids think SFMM is better than Knott's, but most people in SoCal generally prefer Knott's over SFMM. Hence the reason Knott's receives half a million more visitors than SFMM. Knott's and SFMM are both good parks, however I prefer Knott's a little more because of quality over quantity reasons, and more variety than rollercoasters. Just because a park has the most, doesn't mean it is the best in my opinion.
