SFGAM. A lot of the other parks aren't as big or have a bunch of areas they need work in. The only parks in the chain that are close to SFGAM are SFMM and SFGADV. SFMM just has a lot of coaster and some good ones. But they run one train on most rides and only run one side on racing coasters. SFGADV only has good coasters from what I've heard.
SFMM has better coasters than SFGAm but SFGAm has better customer service than SFMM. SFGAm has better coasters than SFStL but SFStL (from what I've experienced) has better customer service than SFGAm.

SFOG - In my opinion this park has the best coaster line-up (Great American Scream Machine, Georgia Cyclone, Georgia Scorcher, SUF, BTR, Mindbender, Deja Vu, and Mine Train) Ninja, I don't like. However, they don't treat there customers with the respect that customers should get. They close rides down early, have frequent ghost trains (I'm told), and they have many one train operations. The other bad side is that they don't have as many flats as SFGAm.
SFStL - I enjoy this park very much because of rides such as Mr. Freeze, Screamin Eagle, Yo Yo, Rush Street Flyer, Scooby doo, BTR, and the Mine Train. However, they don't have as many rollercoasters as SFGAm.
SFKK - One rollercoaster really thrilled me at this park. The Road Runner Express (a mouse) really got my attention. I thought Chang was too long, and T2 was just awful. Chaos and Penguin's Blizzard River (raft ride themed to Batman's villian Penguin) are really good flats though.
SFGAm - There are definitely more rides that I do go on at SFGAm compared to the other parks. For coasters, I really like IW, Deja Vu, V2, Demon, SUF, and BTR. However, SFGAm has a lot of flats. I like Condor, TP, Chubasco, Big Easy Balloons, Whirlgig, East River Crawler (iffy), Ricochet, Sky Trek Tower, The Orbit, Roaring Rapids, and Fiddler's Fling. Also, SFGAm, closes rides on time (instead 15 minutes before) and has more than one train operation on all rides if the track is capable of such. So, that's why SFGAm is number one out of them.
If SFOG didn't have such poor and pathetic customer satisfaction (By this I mean, taking care of there customers better.), they would be number one!
sf fiesta texas is VERY great park!!!!!!! The only flaw is sfft only has six coasters but the park is extremely nice, very friendly staff, good food, clean park, not really large crowds, and the coaster are pretty descent!
I've been to SFMM/Hurricane Harbor, SFstl, and of course, SFGAM/Hurricane Harbor....
SFMM/Huricane Harbor-
I liked this park a little bit........ Some of their coasters were fun, including Deja'vu, Riddlers Revenge, B:TR, and X, but the others weren't as thrilling..... I mean I liked them, but some just didn't thrill me ENOUGH.....The customer service was terrible, the ride ops weren't friendly at ALL!!!!, The paths were dirty, and most coasters were on 1 train ops, and some flats were closed.........Now their Hurricane Harbor didn't impress me that much.... all because I got sunburned... and the pathways were VERY HOT!!!!! ......... On a scale 1-10, i'd give Magic Mountain a 4......
SFStl-
Now from what I remember, I thought it was a great park!!!.... Very clean, the staff was hospidable/nice, and the rides were fun!!!!! I'd give this park an 8/10........
SFGAm/Hurricane Harbor-
I love this park the most out of all Six Flags parks I've visited!!!! The rides are AWESOME, the staff members are extremely friendly, and it is very clean inside......... They are doing a good job keeping up with everything!!!!!! ....... I'd give our park a 11/10.........<<<110%....
I really liked parts of SFMM, like in front of revolution, near ninja, ect. but other than that the park is really unimpressive. Their rides are fun and I really thought it was cool that you could hear Superman anywhere in the park, but one train operations, no shows, and almost no flats in the park makes it not that good. Plus, their Psychlone or however you spell it was horrible.
Six Flags Marine World was allright. In my opinion, the coasters were boring, they had a lot of flats, and I really liked to dolphin show. Its like a lower quality sea world that in my opinion feels sort of empty and you cant do everything in about 4 hours.
SFGAdv is a really nice park and it is way bigger than SFGAm. It has a really nice main street and the landscaping is really good. Their fantasy forrest is really nice, except they took out all the flats that used to be there (the year they built Medusa, they added 25 rides; alot of them have been closed and removed, which is very unfortunate). I loved their coasters. Medusa and Chiller and Nitro are amazing, but their batman is in bad shape compared to ours. i really dont know how to rank this compared to GAm, because they are both good for different reasons. I really like going to this park though.
SFGAm is a really nice park with alot of good coasters and flats. Their customer service is pretty good and they are really good about keeping as much rides open at the fullest capacity as possible. The park has added alot of rides and has gotten nicer since i moved here 5 years ago. NOw that it has a waterpark in its gates and they have added more rides for families, this is my favorite park.
I was extremely disappointed by both MM and Gadv. I think a lot of people feel MM has gone downhill in the past few years. Gadv on the other hand, I was expecting more out of. I found Rolling Thunder to be very poorly maintained. It just seemed to feel slower than it could be. Maybe it was just running bad on the day I went or something. Medusa and Nitro have aged poorly although they do offer great rides. Something about the atmosphere there just didn't sit right with me.
I was impressed on my trip to NE. Although they didn't have as many rides, the ones they had were fun. Cyclone I think I almost hurt my neck on from the violent drops. The ride could be maintained better. I found S:ROS to be the incredible coaster that everyone says it is.
Stl is another park that although it doesn't have as many coasters as some of the bigger parks, the ones they had were fun to ride.
America was a smaller park with a SLC that has aged worse than others. I rode the one at NE and noticed a significant difference with the amount of roughness on the one at Am.
Gam, my home park. I guess since I've been to it the most and seen it on its best and worse days I am a little biased. I see it as the superpark that has gone in the right direction, while MM and Gadv have headed downhill. The rides are fun and well maintained. Rides that haven't been maintained in past years have had repairs(see American Eagle) Overall I would say that Gam is my favorite Six Flags Park. But like I said, I am a little biased and feel that many people dont give this great park the credit it deserves.
you can't believe it - you didn't mean it
but they saw you do it and they know your name
SFGAm is by far the best. The ops are the nicest, the coasters rock, and in general the theming and atmosphere are the best.
Worst-
SFMM. I've gone there and only had 6 rollercoasters open and those were
Goliath,Goliath Jr,Flashback,B:TR,Gold Rusher, and the Revolution. Fights have broken out recently. Only X,Goliath,RR, and Scream are good,it is by far the most rundown park I've been to.
I've been to SFStL, SFKK and SFGAm and SFGAm easily takes the 1 spot in my opinion . SFStl was an ok park and Mr.Freeze was great same with Screamin' Eagle. SFKK was so ghetto especially that bridge that connects the 2 sides of the park, and T2 sucked, but Greazed' Lightning was awesome. and SFGAm is just a great park (yes, Im a fanboy ) its easy to navigate and has great coasters (especially the B&M collection)
EagleFan344 wrote:Looking at just photos and such, it would look like SFMM is definitely the best. But everyone seems to hate it here...
Too bad it's not as great as it should be. It has amazing potential, but they operate everything so poorly, which makes it hard to have a good time. They are improving slightly this year however.
SF parks Ive been to: Enchanted Village, SFA, SFMexico, SFMM, SFStL, SFMW, and SFGADv. I will be at SFGAM this summer, I can't wait to see how the park is judging from what I've heard of the place. Best SF I have been to is Six Flags Mexico. It was such a surprise, everything was efficient and clean. The landscaping and scenery was beautiful too, sure the coasters are not that great, but the park makes up for it in other categories. Has anyone else been there? I enjoyed SFstl a lot also, as well as SFGADv, but SFM was a little better.
SFMM is definitely the worst of the ones I have been to. The operations, and the maintenance are what kills the place, there are some amazing rides though. The only reason why people even go back are becuase of the rides and the extremely heavy discounts. It's dirt cheap to get in there.
