I recently went to SFOG and it was the first park that I've seen Q-Bots at. I personally didn't like the system, because they closed off certain rows of each ride. On BTR they had the last two rows closed off for Q Bots. After waiting 30 minutes for a ride, you don't want to have to get stuck in a row that you don't want. All of the other rides that I went on had Q Bots in middle rows.
I havn't used either, but now that you mention I don't like how they block off the row just for qbot people. The reason is simple. When qbot people aren't there, many times the people in line will not ride because the row is blocked. Usually the operator has to tell people which slows down the operation of the ride.
SUF at SFGAm bugs me in this same way. The mechanics close the line for this ride. The problem is that one train row is perfectly fine. If the operator doesn't tell the people to go to that row, the row becomes empty. They need a sign instead saying one row on train is broke in that line.
I'd prefer Fastlane, it gets you to or close to the front whenever you want, rather than I specified time. Also, the Q-bot system is cool and all, but it isn't something SFGAm could use, it would cause too much confusion in the queue lines, there is already enough is some rides with Fastlane.

I prefer the Fastllane like SFGAm uses. I'd rather pick my time to get in line and have a definate choice of where to sit rather than have something tell me when to get in a line and then not have a complete choice of where to sit.
I've used both Q-Bot is a WAY WAY better value. You can use it as much as you want and swipe it at multiple rides in the order of which you want to ride them and the wait time is a bit shorter then actually waiting in line and you know when you can ride and you go to the ride at your time and u have a 5 minutes window beforehand and 10 minute after that you can ride and while you are waiting in the virtual line you can go on other rides, its so convinient. Fastlane meanwhile is a complete ripoff.
None! Because my brother's gf (Girl Friend) said that fastlane tickets don't really work! the lines for fastlanes be the same as a regular line! (For some rollercoasters) And Q-Bot......I wouldn't use it either!

The line for fastlane on some of the coasters only get really long on the really crowded days. I use fastlane occasionally, and I almost never have to wait long usually because there's no line waiting for fastlane.

Yeah, I have heard a lot of people put down fastlane for having longer lines than the regular ones. For those of you considering purchasing fastlane. DON'T listen to them. Fastlane will save you a considerable amount of time, expecially on crowded days.(Don't bother on days that look like there will be light crowds.)
Fastlane is great for when the lines are all full. Go wait to get some fast lanes and get more rides in, the lines go by quickly. Fast Lane is a good deal, only when used at the right times.

If it were up to me there would be no fastlane or Q-bot or any of that crap, it's just something for the park to make more money on. Disney's fastpass was a pretty decent way to use the system since it's free and gives everyone a fair chance to pass the line during the day, I liked it more than our fastlane system.
On that note I really think Six Flags needs to have an updated wait sign instead of the "60 minutes when full" sign, helped me a lot at Disney and Universal.

Neither are good. Why dont they just use the system disney does and have the park admissions ticket be your fastpass and then just limit the amount of fastpasses per ride (by closing the fastpass machines later in the day) and just tell people when to come back to ride? Or have single riders lines so that people riding by themselves dont have to wait an hour, and actually speed up the ride capacity by filling in empty seats?
