Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

The newest thrill ride atop the Stratosphere Tower malfunctioned this morning, with two riders stranded for about an hour. Due to windy conditions, the stranded riders did their best to stay warm.

Wow, they call insanity, huh? Well, all I know is that is soooo scary to be dangled for an hour near 1,000ft in the air on a windy night. I wouldn't to be them.

That's gotta suck BIG time!!

900 feet above the Vegas strip... I'm sorry but I'd probably be crying!

The video clip has an interview with the girls. The girls were 60 feet over the edge of the tower.

The video clip in this second article has a brief view of how the ride is supposed to work:

That ride looks amazing, I wish it was up there when I was in Vegas early this year. X-Scream is alsom cool, but Insanity looks amazing. Howeevr, that would not be fun to get stuck over the strip for that long.

I was watching the news one morning over a week ago and they were talking about Insanity's first opening, it showed footage of the ride and stuff.. I thought it looked totally cool. That sucks that those girls got stuck for that long though. I personally would have enjoyed being stuck up there, the only negative would be the cold.

^ Me too. Besides the cold, I'd have just relaxed and enjoyed the view! I would really love to try that ride out! :D
