SFGAdv is selling the 18 seats on the first train of Kingda Ka on ebay.

ATTENTION ULTIMATE THRILLSEEKERS AND ROLLER COASTER FANATICS! Thrillseekers worldwide can bid to be the VERY FIRST riders onboard the inaugural ride of Kingda Ka - the tallest, fastest roller coaster on Earth, launching at 128 mph and soaring 456 feet into the sky - during Six Flags Great Adventure's exclusive media preview event. 18 lucky riders will conquer this world record-breaking coaster days before it opens to the general public. All proceeds will benefit CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK. Exclusive Media Preview event is not open to the public and tentatively scheduled for April 21 at 11:00 am at Six Flags Great Adventure theme park in Jackson, NJ. Roller coaster operation is weather sensitive. Riders will be placed from highest to lowest bids, front to back, respectively. Winners must provide their own transportation and accommodations. I could really careless to be the first on the ride as long as I eventually ride it. People who spend that much money to be the first on a ride are dumb.

^I don't know who, but someone says they want to be the first on D Vu' for the opening season. Many enthusiasts on this website love to be the first on the ride in the morning of each day. Yes, it's somewhat a different deal, but at least it's helping others.
