I decided to make a thread for everyone to make up an April Fools jokes that could/couldn't happen at any park. These are not rumors, they are just for fun, and will mostly likely NEVER come true. I have a couple:
1st. Six Flags has just announced that Great America will be getting a new coaster between Viper and Whizzer for the 2006 season. This coaster will intimidate all people, both young and old, it will flip you head over heals while moving throughout this feeling of insecurity.
2nd, the better one, i think. After hours and hours of trying to fix Deja Vu's train at SFGAm, the rides manager (I know his name, but not using it) has decided that they will not open Deja Vu for the season, they believe that the train cannot be operate for safety reasons. Along with the train, the cable on the second tower has snapped during testing of the catch cars. Not only was the cable destroyed, but the catch car was destroyed too, they'll need a replacement, and it will take at least 1 year for the catch car to come in. This ride has been declared unsafe for passengers, and will need to go through extensive work.
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.
Well this year it's true! It's something that wasn't included with the original plans for SFHH but SFI ordered so many Proslide Tornado's they have one too many! So their extra one will be going to SFGAm! It's expected to open with the waterpark but that depends on how fast the parts come in from the former SFWoA (The park it was originally ment for)

Well, we just received some important news about it. The basis of Project Tumbleweed has been found. Six Flags Great America will annouce their plans to construct a 155' tumbleweed in the parks Southwest Territory section. The new tumbleweed will be the first of it's kind in the world. In an effort to bring more attendance to the park, SFGAm bought the world's largest tumbleweed and stuck it right in Southwest territory, blocking the entrance to Giant Drop, Raging Bull, and Viper, all Thrill rides that don't appeal to families. This adds a whole new chapter of unpredicatible ideas. Constructed by Vekoma, the tumbleweed will be viewable for the whole season unless it is closed. The Fright Fest name will be "Ball of DEATH".
Okay, you may start laughing now, and writing up you rebutals

"The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Warning for the entire Six Flags Great America area. The Tornado is expected to hit somewhere in the Hurricane Harbor construction zone. All of those who are in the park take cover immediately!"
I'm surprised to hear that they're putting a Tornado in SFHH. That'll make the new waterpark even better. Though I don't know if it'll hold to Blizzard Beach standards.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.
Hear ye, hear ye: "After 45 years, Six Flags has stopped smoking."
SFGAM Announced that they will open a Kinda Ka next to American Eagle
in the 2007 season! The manager says that it will not the same size as the one what sfgadv has. It will be 200 feet below the height sfgadv has.
