The ride will reach speeds of 30 mph, will replace the Thunder Rapids, and will be a quarter mile long in length.(As my source says.) There is no official announcement yet, but the site does have the logo up in 'What's New'
Thank god, Thunder Rapids was the worst ride at Noah's Ark. It was so slow that they needed a lifegaurd at the midcourse pool to push you down the rest of the slide or you wouldn't go anywhere.
Sounds like a GREAT ride, I can't wait to get to the Dells this summer.

I guess I disagree with you guys... I thought Thunder Rapids was fun. I liked the part where the lifeguard had to push you down the rest of the slide. However, I'd only go down that slide if the lifeguard working that part was hot. lol Anyway, though, I don't mind seeing that ride removed, that slide was extremely old and I guess it was time to go. (Though, NIA was bulit in 2003 and I think that ride has LONG overstayed its welcome! ) That location (TR) would also be a prime starting spot for the new ride, considering it is on top of a rather large hill. From my understanding, Proslide is working on this project and I'm sure it will not disappoint! Good move Noah's Ark! Can't wait to ride Black Anaconda in 2005!:)
Noah's Ark: America's Best Waterpark!! (No matter what the travel channel thinks!)
oh my god, i haven't been to Noah's Ark for so long. I think I was like twelve the last time I actually went there. My family doesn't vacation too often....

It will be like both of them in the fact that it starts uphill, goes downhill etc. Then it will also have twists and turns along the way. Proslide and Noah's ark have not announced specifics or a layout yet, but it will probably be very similar to Splashblaster at Magic Waters.(But this ride will be made by Proslide.)
I liked that Thunder Rapids a lot on the left slide. You didn't need the lifeguard to push you down on that side. When the park is crowded (just like the last time I went there), and a ride only has five people in line, shouldn't that ride go before something else.
Noah's Incredible Adventure was the ride. I would venture a guess that the reason why they want to get rid that ride is because it's one of their newer rides.
I do think that it might be good to go on, but I never know. Before I went on the Stingray, I thought that this is going to be great. However, it seemed just okay to me. In conclusion, it sounds good to put in that type of ride (water coaster), but I don't care that it's replacing a good ride in my opinion.

Thunder Rapids also had those tubes that were heavier than all hell. Most kids probably couldn't carry their own tubes saving more work for mom and dad. in my opinion it's just taking out the old and bringing on in the new.
